Yup I can see your article fine! Good job with it too. But I think it could use a coat of matte/flat, especially around the chest area, that would hide the plastic blemishes and give the colors a nice painted feel.
Its illegal to import tamiya coating spray since they catogarize it as flamable or any kind of spray infact. I live in Dubai. But have mail box in USA NY the company that ships from my mail have it on the forbidden list that cant be shipped. =( I would've paint the whole parts if I had access to tamiya paint and sprays.
Nice job - I love the panel lining X3. You can never get enough of Five Star Stories kits...Nagano certainly knows how to make delicious looking mechs...I was thinking of getting the Volks 1/100 Bang Doll but I cant say I have enough experience with a cement only kit.
Thats the resin kit right? Yea, I definitely have no experience with those so Im just going to settle on the IMS plastic kit first >XD. But I would love to see pictures when the day comes you start on it >v<.
The Neptune is pretty smexy too +Q+. My bro was going to give a try at it if I ever got that Bang but money is kinda tight at the moment *sniffle*. Speaking of FFS kits, Ami Ami had a sale on the re-release plastic Wave 1/100 LED Mirage kits not too long ago...And they had the version with the Boomerang flight pack and Flame Launcher >u0 d...I think its still up but on back order
Hmm I don't really recommend the old 1/100 Wave plastic kits, especially not the original led mirage, vatshu and junchoon. They are just too unstable and need even more work than resin kits.. Not sure about the boomerang and flame unit, but they might also just be extra equipment on the original LED. The 1/144 Wave kits are fine, especially the newer ones.
I see...I remember hearing the same but I never heard about any specifics (was fitting issues the main problem?). I was interested in the boomerang/flame launcher because the resin versions cost an arm and a leg if I remember correctly. In terms of stability I considered these kits as being fixed posed so that might possibly fix that issue? But if they're really that bad I just hold off on it =u=;
Seems to have reached the maximum number of replies possible.. anyways yeah fitting issues, stability, exposed joints, etc. but my biggest gripe with them is just that they are old..if you compare them with recent kits they look less elegant and have a sort of have more L-gaim feel to them (which I don't like). Alternatively if you can't afford the original resin you can always try a recast. It's on sale here http://www.e2046.com/product/2904 and they also have the G-system version http://www.e2046.com/product/9736. There's also a 1/144 version http://www.e2046.com/product/2639.
Excuse me for the drawn out conversation >XD.
Oh those recasts look interesting; my main concern with them were how crisply they were molded in comparison to the orignal GKs but at those prices its not too bad ^w^. Have you ordered from them before?
No problem! Yeah some of them are bad..but if you know which ones to look for then its pretty good for the price and its good for practice! If you want the speed mirage I know someone who sells it and actually I bought from him before (including my BangDoll SAV, which is a recast too btw). I think this one is really nice http://www.e2046.com/product/2198 almost picked it up several times.
*whistles* That is nice...the brilliant clear red is tasty looking...
Heh thanks, I would grab a speed mirage right now if it wasnt for the fact that I pretty much dumped all my funds into AX...ah well, at least I know what my next kit will be.
Its nice to see too much effort put into 1/144 good job.
Oh the post's finally live! And thanks Nasser :D

Also if you see anything weird on the chest thats from the tape I used when I put the dry decals didnt clean it yet XD.
Oh I see that probably explains it. Well hope you find some way around the import limitations!

Thanks ^^ I also have the BangDoll SAV waiting to be completed someday, after I get some more experience!

Yup it is, I also have the Wave BangDoll resin but it's got PVC joints. Ahh I want to get one of those IMS kits too! The Neptune!

Oh what the....A Speed Mirage?! http://www.e2046.com/product/2695 I think I need this posed next to my MG L-Gaim Mk.II >w<.

What's that? Armani Exchange? :p Oh well, ring me up if you wanna talk in the future!
Anime Expo XD, but will do!
Absolutely gorgeous!!! I just love FSS!! Great job!
Thank you ^^ I will be working on another FSS soon! Possibly the Led Mirage Sarion!
I like this K.O.G. AT . This is Wave plastic kit ?
Some people use AT and Patraqushe interchangeably, but I think there are some differences between the two. Anyways yes it is the Wave plastic kit, see here http://www.hobby-wave.com/LINE_UP/kit/FSS/data/pato.html
