Driving 'round the world with the CR-Z (with Premium Yellow Pearl II)
Back in July 19, 2011, Honda Motor Co., Ltd launched a new color for the sport hybrid car, the CR-Z, under the new color name Premium Yellow Pearl II. That is a limited edition color available only until March 2012. It was included in the new trim level for the CR-Z called "α (Alpha) Black Label" that sports dark interior.

Unfortunately that yellow color on the CR-Z is available only in Japan but I had my response to that courtesy of Gran Turismo 5 via Playstation 3.
It was simple; I have to get my CR-Z to the GT Auto and change its exterior paint to something "Yellow Pearl" to make it similar to the special CR-Z color offered in Japan. Mine I used "Rio Yellow Pearl" on my CR-Z.

gran tourismo by chance??
I have yellow 2009 z06 corvette I love that color even from day to day still feels new. and I get looks everywhere I go but ppl mock for a having a yellow car especially guys and some girls. But either way when you buy a car your the one who drives it not them or people so dont take someone openion on car color becuase in the end its you driving the car not them.

Hybrid haters can say what they want to say, but as an automotive enthusiast who usually disregards hybrids, I'm a huge fan of the CR-Z, and the tuning possibilities are increasing as we speak. The chassis is great, handling is great. Sure, it may not be as fun as the iconic CRX, but who cares?

It's about time Honda released a yellow for the CR-Z.
It's kind of a shame that its limited edition only, reason being that a lot of the popular Honda models came with some form of yellow whether its Spa yellow S2000&NSX or the popular Type R's in Phoenix Yellow.
I will say however that they look fantastic in yellow which contrasts the black panels nicely.
Btw, on the 7th Gran Turismo pic, imo you've match the color of the car well there. It also helps that the pic has a really nice balance of color, it looks very realistic.

Yellow is nice.
I own a black CR-Z. GT5 came out just around the same time my mind turned to car shopping. The CR-Z was already on my watchlist, and thought it was a great was to give it a test drive. One of the availabke colors from the dealer in the game is a bright orange. I thought the car looked great in that color, but when I eventually got to the acual amerixan dealer, it wasn't a option. Which madw me sad. I guess thats another japan only color.
I really do like it in black tho. im looking to get matching black rims. And tint the wondows.
Im also tempted to make it a BRS itaruma. (but probably wont) (or maybe just a white star for the back window)
