"I Dare you to........."
After I posted Aebelskivers arrival at my house, poofiemus had posted a reply stating "I dare you to wear her on your head...." Well, I took it to an extreme, stating i'd wear her on my head at the local micro-brewery that I frequent a couple times during the week....
It was......... "Interesting", to say the least.
Most of the folks there, including the hostesses, know I'm a bit of an Oddball. I received many looks, from WTF???? to "Nice hat, Dude!!" With most people doing double-takes, leaning over the bar to wonder just What it was on my head!! Even the owner had to look a few times!

I think this one's the best, the lady in the back just isn't too sure what's going on with it all.... Pro camera gear and a Hippy-Biker type guy with a dragon on his head isn't something you see all that often....
While it was a bit tiring for Aebel, she had an awesome time, and enjoyed the ride home, sunning herself on my lunch tote in the 105 degree weather....
Oh, and poofie? I have a few folks at work, mainly my Supervisor and a lead in the wing shop, that are extremely envious of me having a "hand-crafted" Dragon!!

I'm missing the weather down there; I'm on vacation right now. It's so humid! Can't wait to get back to the dry!

*chuckle* She did a Great Job! I was startled that morning, I leave for work at 03:30, so when I turned out the lights before walking out the door, I had these two great big glowing green eyes under my arm!! Almost couldn't find the front door!!

But dude, awesome you took up the dare. Fun to weird people out, isn't it? XD I'd bring Pancake to school more often if I didn't have to walk over. (I walk at a pretty brisk pace, so I have to carry him by hand until I get to the building and can put him on my head. Too afraid of him falling off onto questionable sidewalk.) The look one of my teachers gave me the one time I did wear him was PRICELESS.

Cool! That reminds me of the time when I went to school wearing a nekomimi for a whole week. People just couldn't stop asking me to borrow it!
