Tokyo day 4 WF

today is WF, got up at 3am and left the hotel at 7am and got to WF at 8am. i walked the wrong way into the convention centre and had to walk all the way back around. this wrong turn costed me about 20mins. normally u would have thought the queue start at the front of the centre but this being japan the queue started at the back of the centre. i did wonder why there wasn't so many people queuing until i saw the real queue and shitted myself. i got into the queue at 8:30am with no shade to protect myself from the sun beaming down. never had i queued so long in my life, in Europe we don't do queue but the jap has mastered it into a fine art.

WF started at 10:00am but i didn't get into the centre until 10:30am, i got into the queue at 8:30am - thats a 2 hour wait. once inside hall 1, it was another 1 hour wait for GSC. while queuing, QB sold out and don't forget i joined the queue at 8:30am. by 11:30am all the GSC goods sold out. my guess is, whose who joined the queue at 10am missed out cuz u didn't get into the centre until 11am plus another 1 hour wait for GSC. i wont be doing WF or Comiket queuing as it beat the shit out of u. i will just go late (about 1pm) for Comiket next month.

i left WF at 1:30pm and prayed that i wouldn't have to do that again. got back to the hotel by 2:30pm and plan to get some sleep by 5pm

i did saw so many new nendoroids and scaled figures i want. bewared the following months will be expensive. i will have to sell off my collection to make room for all the new stuffs.

this time tomorrow i will be in Osaka, i wont be catching the Shinkansen, rather i will be using the normal train to get there. in total it will take about 10 hours from tokyo to osaka by rapid trains. it sounds crazy but its alot cheaper as it will only cost me about 2300yen (18 kippu ticket) by rapid train to osaka rather than 14000yen by shinkasen.
