Captain America The First Avenger (Thoughts and Opinions)
Now that I've just watched Captain America, I like to share a bit of my thoughts about this movie, without spoiling it much.
1. The movie's opening didn't start of at the WW@ era where Steve Rogers at in the movie. In fact, it starts of at the present time where the movie's universe takes place, thought only for a few minute.
2. Howard Stark, Tony's dad with be appearing in this movie NOT as a cameo. He will, however have a larger, supporting role in this movie.
3. Flying car = Helicarrier. Maybe.
4. This movie made quite a bit of references to Thor, Asgard and Yggdrasil.
5. I really love how Bucky turned out in this movie. Can't say the same for his screen-time though.
6. "He's still skinny".
7. Cap won't start of with the suit he's wearing shown in trailers. That applies to the shield he's carries around in the trailer. he starts of with a classic version of the suit and the shield.
8. Sit through the credit, and you will be rewarded with not on a secret scene but also a short, but satisfying teaser of The Avengers.
The Dark Knight emerge victorious against 3 superhero movies back in 2008. Let see if The Dark Knight Rises have what it takes to take on a movie of superheroes next year.

It was a bit slow of a start and they seemed to have made him too slow, I remember from the hulk movie that guy had a partial dose of the super soldier serum and he was haulin ass, captain just seemed a bit too slow.
The mentions to Yggdrasil and such I believe are mainly due to the ties with the Nazi's because the whole Nordic mythology is a big staple to the arian(sp) race complex.(although it seems to me the redskull was transported to Azgard or an other such world shown in the Thor movie.)
Scene after the credit is SOOO WORTH THE WAIT!!! (^___^)
