Sure we can go to the shore!
My family has a tradition of going to Ocean City, NJ every year in our vacation house. Even though I already live on the beach it is still nice to have a change of scenery. I also have a love of road trips. Sitting in the car can get a little old for your bum, but seeing new places by car is great. This year I managed to take some pictures from when I wasn't sleeping on the beach. What follows is my quest.

To get to NJ from my house, you must take a ferry. This is a large boat that you drive your car onto so you can get to your destination without needing to swim.

Seriously, those guys are evil!

The ferry ride takes about 90 mins total. Its refreshing to just stand out on the deck and soak up some sun.

A perfect time for some iced tea!

It can be bright without your sunglasses. Need to protect from those UV rays!

While I was there I rented a bike. Yotsuba especially liked the basket.

I rode about three hours every day. It was fun!

The major attraction (other than the beach) is the boardwalk. It is filled with lots of shops and resturants.

It wouldn't be the beach without iced cream!

This is the view from the porch outside my room. This is the back of the house, so the view isn't the best. If you try hard you can see the sea.

Outside for a little picnic. Remember... don't feed the birds!

Back out on the open seas for the return trip.

Another ferry going in the opposite direction packed with tourists starting their vacations

but before we could make it to port, we were raided by pirates. THE END!

Agreed. I saw them chase down a guy for food, begging and stalking closely XD. Was amusing to watch.
I once had a flock of them surround my beach towel ._.
Very nice shots. Going on a trip on a boat and just enjoying the ocean seems like a distant dream for me.
