Full Metal Min Ho!?
Today, I sent off Min Ho and Sebastian to get some new face-ups and much needed TLC (Poor Min needs work on his head cap). When I was about to leave, I noticed something in my mailbox! I had gone on a two month layaway for a new arm for Min, and not just any arm! An Automail arm!
This arm was fashioned to look just like Ed's in "Full Metal Alchemist". The person who made the arms was selling both a left and a right version of the arm. So I went with a left one (As a way to replace Min's old left hand which was very delicate in nature).
The arm is a little bigger than Min's old arm, and was intended more for a Volks SD10-SD13 doll. But it does fit well enough on a Soom Gem.
The detail on the Automail arm is AMAZING! It was made very well! It is made of resin and by a girl on Den of Angels. I have to say, I am very pleased with this arm, and hope Min Ho likes it when he comes back from South Carolina!
Ha ha! Awesome! Too bad the timing was off.... now you'll have to wait a bit to see him in all his glory. It's good that it finally came tho. =3
Yeah... I wished it had better timing, but what can you do? It's a VERY awesome arm, though.

I don't know if Volks will ever make Male DD's... if they did, we would all be in trouble, wouldn't we? Well... maybe some people's daughters would be in trouble, but female otaku would be thrilled!

A well done sculpt. Now the detailing begins!! brass, Iron, Copper detailing, plus the insulation for the wires.... Will turn out to be an awesome piece of work!!!

Thank you! The artist on DoA (Den of Angels) who had these made is genius, I tell you! Pure Genius! And I cannot wait to get Min's head back, too. I hope he gets his head cap fixed and his face painted so he looks a little happier.
