So I made a post a while ago about this and didn't come across any more photos until I found these two open for preorders on Amiami a few minutes ago.
What do you think of them?

I am a Kenshin fan, and I have to admit... I am unhappy with how these Revoltechs look. The arms look very odd, no matter how you pose him, and the legs are just... they remind you of something like a fighting robot. I just feel so disappointed by this release. T_T Kenshin deserved better.
I feel like a figma might work better depending how they do it. It would probably get the clothing part right.
I will agree with you on that. Figma would probably offer more options than what this Revoltech does. I just am floored that Good Smile did not announce a Nendo of Kenshin (which would work well as they could release both versions as A & B). As a Nendo, they could get the legs to work fine, as they did an outfit like this for the Hideyoshi Nendo. As a Figma, I could see only good things coming from a Kenshin version. But as a Revoltech... I just want to cry! T_T Good Smile.... make a Figma or Nendo of Kenshin... pleeassseeee don't leave us with this Revoltech!
The problem with making a posable figure of kenshin is that he's supposedly a flexible character, I don't think either figure tech would be able to do him justice. On top of that, he clothes making it hard to make it the figure very articulate.
I like Kenshin, but this figure looks really bad IMHO.
I agree with you 100% of that statement.
True, after buying a Freulein Revoltech Rin, I was never buying any human Revoltech figure again.
Just want to say unlike this figure looks very bad. Won't buy >< the PVC is looks way much better.
Well i'm glad that i'm not the only one when looked at this was like, O_O;
They were able to catch Kenshin, but it's about the same quality as taking a picture from a disposable camera compared to one taken from a 14MP digital.
With that being said, of the 2 i think the battousai one looks some what better.
He has wings... these figures look weird and blocky.
Lego Kenshin!! Funny thing is i'm sure if they did a lego kenshin, it might look better...
I don't really like this version of Kenshin. He looks like a freakin' robot!
All he needs is a rocket punch?!
Honestly, thouse hands.... are great big for that body...
If he hadn't have thouse proportions i'm sure he would look better.
Hate to admit, and I don't really comment about bad figures, but...yeah this is disappointing enough that I had to. So very sharp, even on the face and hair. one look at that and I was out.
The only one good thing I could possibly find is the possible posability, and even that's questionable ><.
Why can't they make these like their Lupin or Trigun figures, those were great IMHO...
three words: DO NO WANT. i'm pretty disappointed with this. why i was so excited about this before? i thought Revoltech series are getting better :(
Definitely not impressed. I foresee this figure in the sales/bargain bins very soon.
I was kind of hoping Revoltech would be going away from their typical angular sculpting style for this. Wishful thinking. >.< He's not drawn in an angular style, so why the hell would they sculpt him that way?
I have to agree that Figma would probably do a better job, since their sculpting style is more understated, and especially since they rely on making selected parts out of softer plastic to maximize both flexibility and aesthetics. But do you know what I think would really rock? An Azone Kenshin on that new Obitsu 65cm guy body. That would probably get me to break my "no painted eyes on dolls" rule!
dont like this face... looks kinda alien xD
While I'd love to own a Kenshin action figure, these are kind of ugly. I await a Figma.
