Some oldies but goodies

Posted by Kichigai Neko [www]

My old Canon G10 decided it wanted to die a slow death, so I opted to grab me a new camera, this time a Canon 1100D. It's the first time I've ever owned a camera like this, and I've been having some fun with it. I've decided that I'm going to try and photograph all my figure collection (and considering my only real free time is during my lunch hour this is going to take a while ^^; ) and hopfully I'll learn a few tricks with this camera on the way.
Yesterday I made a start with a couple of my favourite figures, my Max Factory Shana and Kotobukiya Mahoro - Here's a few of the shots I got:

Depending on where you live, see if you've got a local camera shop that can let you practice in the store with various cameras. If you're after complete control over your shots a digital SLR is the way to go. If you don't mind losing a bit of the freedom, something like my old Canon G10 would suit you fine. You don't even need to spend big money to get one that suits you, hell I first started off with a £20 digital camera and that did me for what I wanted back then. It's because I want to do more with my pictures that I've constantly upgraded.
If I can create photo's that people like, I'm happy ^^
Thanks for your time in commenting =^-^=
