Gotta Contract ‘em All!
Judging by the immense popularity of its success on the anime field as a first and foremost original MagiKano (Magical Kanojo aka Magical Girl) genre, it’s no surprise that Puella Magi Madoka Magika makes its way towards other platforms of media in no time…
Well guess what? Madoka Magika is set to get its own game on the PSP!
Being declared as an Adventure Dungeon RPG, Puella Magi Madoka Magika Portable combines both aspect of the usual visual novel styled flag-raising conversation dating sim system along with some what Persona 3/4-esque dungeon crawling sequence.
These are just my speculations since we’ve yet to get a full trailer of the gameplay itself…
You’ll be able to move the girls around town, striking key conversations that raises their relationship with you and one another, before you venture…
…into the dungeon section of the game fighting Ma(hou Shou)jo in their alternate reality lairs!
The battle sequences with Ma(hou Shou)jo’s lackey familiar really stays true to their anime counterpart, with them designs give off the vibes of the cult classic Persona series…
I have no idea what those blocks on the stage map are but it might turn out to be a chess like gameplay movement during the dungeon section…
And of course th usual visual novel styled flag-raising conversational choices that may—waitaminute, you get to be the (Incubator) Kyuubey in this game!? ^~^;
Well it’s no surprise, you can’t really be anyone else in a dating sim of a MagiKano game… orz
Staying true to the anime, of couse you get to use every of them girl’s MagiKano powers in the game!

Slated to be release on March next Earth cycle, each package will comes with the PSP UMD itself along with an Art Collection DVD Disc…

The premise certainly sounds intriguing. However, I do not own a PSP, nor would I pick one up just to play this, so no game for me.
I may consider getting the special limited edition pack simply because it comes out around my birthday.
