本日2011年8月13日、東京・文京シビックホールにてTBSアニメフェスタ2011が開催。本イベントにて、昨年放送され好評を博したテレビアニメ「アマガミSS」の第2期の製作が決定したことが発表された。また、第1期に引き続き、主題歌をアーティストのazusaが担当することも明かされた。

(Today, August 13 2011, the TBS Anime Festival 2011 is held at Bunkyo Civic Hall in Tokyo. At this event, the broadcast television animation acclaim last year, "Amagami SS" has announced the second season of the production. In addition, it has also been revealed that the artist responsible for the opening theme song will be azusa.)

    I really liked the original run of "Amagami SS", especially its omnibus format that had an arc focused on each girl in turn. Having more of this good, working formula would be great but what on earth will this second season be about? They covered each heroine's arc in the original first season of "Amagami SS" and the OVA (DVD/BR) episodes.

    Am kind of afraid this will undo the strength of the original series run with its omnibus format and specific arcs for each heroine, with a show unwilling to see through to a specific ending but be a wishy washy show with an open ending where nothing really happens of significance romance wise.

    Hm.... i think( it`s me) the season 1 is enuff for the story n have a good ending overall and the ova`s are cute too, However only Rihoko is really annoyed me...c`mon every1 get junichi..except her awwwwwwww hate to seein it happens.

    Amagami SS doesn't need a second season. They covered every arch, including the main 6 plus the extras. How this series was written with a conclusion for every arch that does not require anymore exploration. The only way for Amagami SS to make a story that wont piss off fans is by making possible for a harem ending or do the same thing as the first season but with a new set of characters.

    Seems interesting as to how they are going to do this as the stories ended in the series(even though rihoko ending was crap) plus the OVAs, only way I'm thinking is harem ending or new girls.

    I'm excited for a second season, despite the first season ending quite well. It would be nice if they decide on a whole new cast but I think they will just work with the current chars
