Deluxe Animated OPTIMUS PRIME (Family Mart Lucky Draw B)

Hello guys, supplementing your dosage of mecha content is this Deluxe Class Earth-Mode Optimus Prime figure from "TRANSFORMERS Animated". Now you've probably seen this mold in the "Battle Begins" two-pack with Megatron, though both have battle damage all over their bodies. However, the figure you see here is "clean" as this is a special version that can be obtained as a Japanese-exclusive lucky draw prize in their Family Mart convenience store chain. Fortunately for me, a local hobby shop got some pieces and I was able to buy one. For more images, click on the gallery link below.
Congratulations! Looks very nice, even thought I don't like the new animated series... Prime is still Prime. (just needs Peter Cullen's voice ;D )
Thanks! Yeah, many were turned off due to Animated's "kiddie" designs. For those wanting a grittier feel to their robots, there's always TRANSFORMERS Prime and it's a great show to say the least. :D
Gotta agree with that! I love Transformers Prime!! Ep. 20 was pretty epic and just watched 21 yesterday, but it seems we have to wait till September for another episode... bummer!

Excellent photos of an excellent toy! The two pack version is what got me to buy nearly all the Animated figures...
Yeah, still hate the battle damage though. That's why when I saw that Takara will release a clean version of the figure, I didn't think twice and got one (at least when one of my local hobby shops imported those) :D
I see BBTS still has some, I'm just not sure I want to drop $90 on a deluxe... But Optimus does look much better without the battle damage.
Yeah, I was supposed to get mine at BBTS but a local hobbyshop got a few at around $60... still pricey for a deluxe but a lot cheaper than BBTS :D
