Cos & Effect 2011 - Vancouver

With Cos & Effect 2011 in Vancouver, Canada, taking place on August 13th to the 14th, there were more attendees who attended than I originally predicted. With the convention having a higher attendance than planned, I think Cos & Effect 2011 was a great success. I can’t confirm exactly how many attended but, from a source, over 1900 attendees registered and attended! A great start to the beginning of Cos & Effect.
With that I was given the privilege to be one of the representatives for Tsukino-Con at Cos & Effect 2011. To promote Tsukino-Con 2012 and give back to the convention community. Attendees at Cos & Effect were given a 50% discount when they register for Tsukino-Con 2012 during Day 1 and Day 2.
For those who are planning on going to Tsukino-Con 2012 and haven't registered. Here is a link to register online. Tsukino-Con 2012 registration

The Tsukino-Con group heading out after Cos & Effect 2011.

And for some reason I did not hear of this event...
Odd... Cos & Effect was on the same days Anime Evolution 2011 was suppose to be on. From what I remember there is a Facebook page for Cos & Effect.
From my experience I was kept busy, working with Tsukino-Con and enjoying the convention. From others, I heard there were times when there was nothing much to do. Well, it's good to have some rest time between things doing a convention.
An adorable mayoi cosplay!! :) Good job!
From what I am aware of, she won a prize at Cos & Effect 2011 cosplay contest.
Really well done and she suits Mayoi almost perfectly.
LOL! MMD style GlaDOS!
I'm amazed with the sunglasses on top of glasses.
On top of that Aviators on top of glasses.
