MG 1/100 RX-0/A Unicorn Assault Gundam
Old project, made back in april-may. This model took me about a month to complete due to the fact I hand painted everything on this suit. It was the first time going to such lengths with hand painting (the most I had done before that was a OYW Gundam, which didn't get such an extensive job done) so there are a few flaws with this kit but things are rarely perfect anyway.

Fielded around UC0098, the Unicorn series saw one more unit developed by AE for a Federation group for the task of cracking down on Neo Zeon remnants and handling extremely dangerous missions. Designed to quickly obliterate enemy forces rapidly, the Unicorn Assault was outfitted with the same weapons as the original Unicorn with the addition of four high-output beam gatlings. Not satisfied with the way NT-D mode behaved in the original Unicorn, the AE technicians discovered a way to lock the system in NT-D mode, resulting in a dramatic boost across the board from a technical standpoint. The main drawback to this is of course, increased stress on the mobile suit in addition to a shorter operational time but these are far outweighed by the fact that the increases are a massive bonus for the suit's purpose.
The finished Gundam was given a low-visibility grey coloring with the intention of giving it the element of surprise in it's attacks, in which there were to be no witness or survivors.

Not bad. Kinda reminds me of armored core haha. Seeing this makes me want to do a custom color scheme for my Unicorn..

oh look, this thing. i liked the different color choice over the usual white, though its a bit streaky compared to your other stuff. im guessing you hand brushed it?
Yeah, I realized on the legs that I needed a lot more coats to cover it up but by that point I had laready put the decals on the upper body.
wow.. the last two pic look kind of over kill for me.. wuahaha.. ya man.. this piece of art is good for diorama due to its color shceme..

the color is so sexy on the Unicorn Gundam, I did not think that gray would look so good.
Kinda reminded me of Transformers.. ^_^
