The one about the homo being strangled is from Fushigi Yuugi. That line is translated correctly ;) The 'homo' in question is Nuriko, (and I hope I'm not spoiling) who is a man who pretends to be a woman for the first part of the series. I can't remember what was happening in the scene in question, but the character in the scene actually said that, and Nuriko's cross dressing is constantly jabbed at xD

literally LOL! I've been laughing so much my insides hurt! there are some of those that I didn't see yet, but I LOVE the moo translation, the =3 and the bird thing hahahahahaha!

Man, I love fansubs I'll never stop downloading them, official releases just can't get away with these kind of hilarious things. I've yet to stumble into one of these though, the few I got were intentional ones for April's Fools or anniversaries and everybody knew before downloading them.

If you actually watch the anime you will realise that the girl is learning how to swim and due to poor skills she swims directly into somebody. The sub makes no sense in that context. While some fansubs appears to be poor, most of the ones here are jokes.

If I remember correctly, think the Hayate no Gotoku one was translated according to dialogue to reflect the pun in the original dialogue, with Hayate mistaking the term "tundra" for "tsundere".

Actually, people die if they are killed is completely correct in context. *SPOILER ALERT* It's from the anime Fate/Stay Night, where the main character, Shirou, has suffered several wounds that should have easily killed him, only to remain alive, and he says that when he realizes it.

The "I can't not" one is actualy funnier now that I've studied a little Japanese and understand why it happened... Double negative is actually one of the more common ways to say "must" or "have to" in Japanese, and is very much a normal grammatical construction. But not in English, which is something the translator apparently didn't know... ^_^

The Suzaku x Fish one has got to be the best, though. If I'd been eating or drinking anything while reading it, I'd be on my way to the hospital right now...

Not bad, but once you start learning Japanese, these kinda fan dubs just aren`t as funny because you know what there saying in Japanese, or at least enough to understand the jist of it.
