Sanya V. Litvyak
Kotobukiya's Sanya.

Not a really popular figure, but it's still decent enough.

I have no idea why I ordered her, probably because of her dynamic pose and I have pretty resistance to ears and tails.

Unfortunately my opinion of the figure isn't as what I expected it to be.

Although her pose it pretty dynamic and crazy, her face is totally covered from certain angles except her left side, and she doesn't look her best from that side.

I love her Strike Unit though. The propellers are changeable between a spinning one and a static one.

Strike Witches signature trademark is their sexy pantsu but sadly the sculpt at ther region was very 'blockish' instead of a smooth curve.

As I was saying, she doesn't look good from this side, though opinions may vary.

I remember reading some comments on how this figure of Sanya deviated from how she actually looks like in the anime.
The post production pictures and the actual product is pretty different actually. Actual product bridges the differences, though I'm sure that there will still be fans complaining. I think it's just fine though.

One thing I love about the figure, is the gun. It's really huge. So huge that it blocks everything.

They come with little holes. I guess that they should have provided miniature rockets to go with it. Would look so much better.

Then again, I guess the holes where there for a reason. Fits figma stands perfectly.

Reminds me of gunslinger girl!

And I almost forgot to add, the base is totally weird. The design is ok, but it comes in bright blue. By looking at the box, I think Kotobukiya wanted to give a "flying in the clouds" feeling but I would have preferred transparent white plastic instead of this blue which totally doesn't go well with Sanya's grey outfit.

lovely figure
was it difficult to find the right angle?
Not really, not much choices that I liked.
I see...
nice shots nevertheless ^ ^b
havent watched the anime but love this figure. interesting about the viewing angles though...
image ID#19546 shes wet down there ^^
the base looks suitable for a magical girl theme =P
Pink and Yellow are the Ultimate Colors ^^;
Opinions indeed do vary. I think her left side looks much better than the front shot.
lol The holes really fit Figma stand perfectly. Must be hard to balance it though. XD
The blue stand has an uncanny resemblence to Figma stand though. ^^
Face still isn't quite what I'd like it to be but your right its 100x better then the proto shots...Ofcourse then like you said they made her base that silly bright blue that doesn't suit her whatsoever. >_<
Thanks for sharing~~ So Sanya took off already while Yoshika & Shirley are still grounded :D
I was considering this Sanya, together with the other 2 choices, namely the Alter Yoshika and the Amiami Shirley.
Her striker doesn't look much like a MiG either (or at least don't have the original sleekness).. in fairness her Fliegerhummer Rocket Launcher looks great~ :) Sanya looks ok though..
Guess i'll have to wait for the Yoshika~
I got an idea, why don't you cover the base with cotton balls to make it look like clouds instead? lol~ xD
Was thinking of using a wire frame to hang her off something instead of using my precious cotton. I found her striker unit to be the next best thing after her fliegerhammer though, felt that it was pretty well done ^^
Drossel looks damn badass with that rocket!
