Mim's Aug Loot

They came from all over the pace both used and new, from Yahoo JP, Amiami and even one from a fellow figure.fm comrade.

I'm usually pretty Nendo heavy and they are my main focus however, I only obtained the regular releases this month including plugging one of my earlier slots. Bar the Silver Tachikoma coming next month I'm done with the older stuff.

I've grown to rather like Freeing 1/4 releases of late and seeing as I went to the trouble of collecting the Haruhi Bunny set this little Gem fits in perfectly and all eight will look gorgeous once finally on display.

I do rather think Freeing kinda ran out of idea's with her packaging though, the art work of which is pretty average when you're used to what most do these day's. That might just be me though >.>

A fellow Figure.fm poster had a sale recently and kindly sold me Celica. I recall another reader posted a while back wanting to track this one down and though I had never seen her prior the quality, colors and general design really blew me away and so I've been keeping an eye out for her. Earlier searches on Yahoo JP revealed a few more figs in the range that I though would all look good on display together, but I'm not sure if this is the complete set or not.

Any of you kind people happen to know if there were more in this specific series ie the IIDX one?

She came with a lovely bunch of extra arms for more posing options.

The paint quality on the whole set is pretty nice and the sculpt is great imo.

Gothic bunny girl ftw!

This was my pleasant surprise for the month. Any of you that have bough the Figma version will have an idea of her size, which is pretty much exactly the same scale. I was actually expecting a larger figure like 1/6 scale.

That said if you are a Kosmos fan and want a really beautiful posable figure then this ones for you. The sculpt and pain quality is typical Alter standard who are like the Audi of the figure world. The paint job is near flawless, the photo's really don't do her justice.

A little hard to spot, but theres loads of those neat little warning decal type prints all over the gear that Gunpla hobbyists would be quite familiar with.

Oh and if you love accessories boy is this one for you! If you look a little harder you will notice theres a second lower tray full of accessories deeper in her box.

I was originally a little thrown off her when seeing the pics posted up for pre-ordering as I thought she had a little too much of a blue tinge to her rather than the angelic white / pearl finish I'd fallen in love with, but as you can see of the shot further up she is has only a little bit of blue used for some shading on and it does not dominate the figure at all.
