Saber Alter in the Mountains of Wales
Hello everyone! I have just returned from a week's holiday in Wales, which provided some awesome views and places to see. I took Saber Alter along for the ride, and here are some photos from the journey.
We travelled up into Snowdonia, through some great mountainous terrain.
The first place visited was Chirk Castle. This castle was built by King Edward I in 1295. Here we are at the gates.
Next up was Vale Crucis Abbey, built in 1201.
"Let's go over there."
This is Swallow Falls, a nice waterfall near Betws-y-Coed.
I was actually asked here if I worked in Advertising or for a Magazine or something, haha.
This is the view overlooking Mount Snowdon, the tallest mountain in England and Wales.
Saber took a good look.
I actually went to the Summit of the mountain. This is the view from the top. I had to leave Saber behind unfortunately, I don't have a decent DD bag so it would have been a pain to get her up there. I didn't know this beforehand but Snowdon is associated with the legend of King Arthur. Local legend says that the Knights of the Round are buried under the mountain, and that from the summit you can see Camlann where Arthur died and the lake which Excalibur was thrown into.
As you can see, this is in the clouds. A cloud was just about to go past when I took this photograph.
The last place I went with Saber was Powis Castle, built in around 1266.

the scenery are astoundingly beautiful!!
What a gorgeous landscape! With those castles and ruins it's a perfect fit backround to photograph Saber. ^^

Yeah, it's really nice! I've been before but I was about three years old so I don't remember it at all from then!

Regarding staining, I've got white socks on underneath the black ones, and her dress is lined inside :)

Yeah, it was a really nice place.
Thankfully it mostly rained at night time, I just dodged some rain right at the end as well.
