Miku had her precious something stolen!
Miku ended up needing quite some time to show up because of an unknown shipping delay that happened somewhere between Tokyo and where I am, so HLJ's was definitely not at fault. The parcel itself arrived quite intact with no damages even though it was raining the day it arrived, so that's a plus.

The packaging of the figure is fairly standard, except for the plastic wrapped metal tie that seems to further secure the clam shell. Accessories that are included can be seen, including two mics, two pairs of pink eye-wear, two clear plastic legs and something I've never saw in other pre-painted figure sets before, two different display stands!

Miku looks happy to be on the stage right from the start.

From the other angle we can her fluttering skirt.

There are a lot of various detail that went into this figure, including the L and R labels on her headphones, the little bits of transparency on her hair tie and painted fingernails. Also, her name in English is written on the shirt collar and in the tattoo on her upper left arm.

Here are the two stands that comes with her. The pink one I had put on the support leg that should prevent premature material fatigue will definitely happen if she has to stand on her right leg for an extended duration.

Miku dancing on the pink display stand. The support leg clash a bit more on this stand than the other one. Maybe if the spare piece was pink it could be used instead it would result in a better match. That being said, I am not counting this as a flaw against this figure.

More of the pretty green fingernails. A bit of a rarity to have a figure this detail, as this is just the second figure that came into my care that has a full set of them (the first one being Shana). Note how Miku has switched to the other mic just to see how nice it looks and sounds.
One care taking point to note is that the black mic does transfer its blackness off onto other things because I noticed it had already rubbed off a bit onto her right palm in the area concealed by the mic. Not to big of a deal in this case, but take care so you don't go rubbing that mic all over her and get her all dirty...

Hinagiku decides to join in the fun and goes on to have a duet with Miku. Unfortunately she refuses to get off her white platform (because Kotobukiya won't let her), so the height differences between these two are quite apparent, until I gave Miku a slight height boost to sort of balance this out.

The more the merrier! Haruhi decided to bring her guitar and join the fray while encouraging (more like drag in) Mio to show up with her lefty bass guitar. While Mio is still too shy to show off her lefty guitar playing skills, looking pretty is sufficient in this case. This looks like a fun loving, music talented trio (almost) ready to rock.

And Miku puts on her her bright red pinkish glasses. メガネ属性ありますか?

A flaming red hair challenger appears! Just as I mentioned something about Shana's fingernails, she shows up in her powered up form with her hair nicely flaming and translucent. Miku probably kind of wish her hair can be translucent like this too. Maybe a little bit of rivalry is happening? A contest between green hair vs. red hair, microphone vs. nodachi, who will win?!
Did someone say shimapan?!

Miku: Eeek what happened?!

Looks like Shana wanted to try on Miku's skirt! I guess we better listen to the flaming red hair girl armed with a sharp and pointy nodachi.

Shana: I will give you your skirt back, it is pretty and I had fun wearing it.
Miku: Glad you liked it! Care to join for a song?
Shana: I am not that good of a singer, you go ahead!
Me: ... alrighty then...

What else could Miku do but to keep on singing happily!

Back on the topic about the support leg. It was a bit difficult to put this on initially, so I took advantage of the semi-cast-off nature of this figure and attach the support while her upper body was detached. To put on her pair of glasses the front bits of her hair can be detached like a typical figma, and just slip the frame into the small railing guide gently. Aside from these two points, this is yet another high quality piece to join my talented musical ensemble.

she looks really cute ^^ kinda like this version of her
and HELL YEAH FOR SHIMAPAN !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Megane make girls sexier.
Nice oshiri. LOL
Very nice! Love the photos~
Will have to look out for this figure. ^_^
You didn't try Megane Shana as well???
Unfortunately there isn't a way to fit them under her hair without breaking anything, otherwise it would be interesting to see megane on everyone!
Pre-ordered her from Toylet, but prob won't come till late september
Nice post, atm this Miku figure is standing on my desk, very cute one
But she is a bit small for 1/8 scale isn't she?
Oh you also ordered her @ hlj, quite the delay, but at least she arrived save and sound ^^
Thanks! Yes, I think you are right, she does appear to be a teeny bit smaller than 1/8 scale figure. Pretty sure Miku should be taller than Shana (also 1/8) but you can see they are pretty much the same height, but this might just be her dancing pose making her seem shorter. The gekisou figures on the other hand I found to be just a small smidge bigger than 1/8 scale, but then they are all fine looking figures so such minuscule oversight (even if it's just our imagination) can be ignored.
