Wow, awesome looking work. The green of her eyes really stands out agains the rest of the face, which is great. Could be difficult to match clothes to though ;P

Not sure on kimonos to be honest, I just think bright-green can be difficult to match colours to, it's just so striking. That said, it's used quite extensively in design schemes at the moment, mostly with dark greys, warm and light neutrals (think beech wood) etc, stuff that'll let the green be the focal point.
I agree. I think some warm browns (lighter rather than darker). I saw a BJD with really striking green eyes that had a vest on in plum. It worked very well. The plum brought out the eyes but didn't sink to far into the background. She had grey pants and a white shirt on as well.

I know she's an original but that would be an interesting faceup treatment for a DD-02 (Aoi) head. She reminds me a lot of the Anime version of O-Ren Ishii from Kill Bill Vol. 1. Formidable woman. Very formidable. Kickin' butt and takin' names is the name of her game, no doubt.

I think she's gorgeous and even if you say she needs some more work. The faceup you have on her is also wonderful and really complements her (as do her eyes obviously!).
