A magic lesson... ?

Mari has dug up something she insists is magical and will help her "make new friends" ... <_<; Whatever that means.
This leads to this coverage of last night. I'm not sure what exactly went down - she has her hobby that keeps involving blinding me w/ bright lights and I'm just tryin to learn proper lighting for taking a good picture!

Doing magic requires ... change of clothes? I guess looking the part is half the magic
and a quick hair fix while we're at it
- If we're doin fortune telling, I'm outta here!
[cue crickets]
Mari: "onee-chan, come on!"
- fiiiiiiine, cue Disney fairy music. Better?
um....
errr... so... glowing.. is... good sign?
Mari; "sshhhh, i'm concentrating!"
............... red is...not so shiny good light?
guess it was a bust... clean up times
Mari: *mumbles to self*
- You made this mess, you're cleaning

OHHHHHHHHHHHH!!. What will happen next.
Maybe using the sonic would get better results, then it's not magic or is it.
but then there might be the issue of big ball of wibbly-wobbly... timey-wimey... stuff! (and before you know it, we're up to our eyeballs in Angels)
Maybe Mari can "reverse the polarity of the Neutron flow".
which may lead to a "spacio-spatial temporal hyperlink"! (no idea, just don't wish to say "magic door")
Mari seems to have a certain identifiable reflex.
