Final Fantasy XIII-2 Play Arts Kai & Catherine
As the Final Fantasy series contiues to expand, so does Square Enix' lineup of Play Arts Kai figures. Joining the lineup this time is Lightning, as she appears in FFXIII-2. The detailing on the figure, IMO, is beautiful. Though, Lightning seems to have small ankle joints, so, if they are as small as they appear in the pictures, I hope they are stonger than Hitsugaya and Rukia from the Bleach Play Arts line. When I took those two out of the box, each had an ankle break almost immediately.
Not much really to say about the Catherine figure other than that it is beautiful and it's pretty much a guaranteed pick up for me. I think she'll look nice displayed next to my Love is Over Edition of the game. I wonder if a figure of Vincent and Katherine will be made, too.

I'm hoping they'll make a sorta book-end mirror-matching statues of Katherine and Catherine (with a lil SD Vincent-sheep to move between them!)

I would love to get Lightning *_*!
I fell in love with Lightning as soon as I saw this...must get!, but she's a little pricey for me. I may just wait for Serah when her new figure comes out...^_^
Yea, the latest bunch of Play Arts figures have gotten a bit pricey. But, really most figures, articulated or fixed posed, have gotten more expensive.
