Mandarake order~ CLAMP
So I ordered with Mandarake for the first time 2 weeks ago and just got my package today~
Ordered two, very old-school items and paid in total 6,680 yen, the shipping was 1,680 yen. Even thought they say no SAL with paypal it still let me choose that option xD
Thought I will share with you guys~
The box it came in was HUGE o_O look at those tiny packages on top xD
yes there was a lot of space and magazines feeling the box xD the items are a normal size~
and here she is~ omg! since I found out about the dolls I was searching eveywhere, just 2000 yen~ the box is a bit damaged, but it's super old, I'm not surprised xD it all smells "old"
and both of my gets~ plus LAT Miku for size comparison~ Sakura is a 1/6... yet why is she so much bigger than Miku? xD but the proportions are reslly different~ her hands ans shoes are humongous! xD
unfortunately Hikaru doesnt have a stand >< i need to figure something out~
Hikaru looking much better after I fixed her hair a bit xD it was a meeess~ but gently brushing it out helped~
a bit of crazy hair on the back
her legs had some stains and dirt, but it came off nicely with nail polish remover ^^
the shoes are quite damaged >< the material is really bad~
and Sakura~ 1/6 by CLAYZ
she has the weirdest stand ever, requires drilling a hole from under o_O ...i used blue tack xD
At first thought I was like, "why did it take so long"?
I was so happy with mandarake's shipping especially with that expensive price.
well SAL always takes 2 weeks~ xD id rather wait than pay for EMS, and SAL wasnt that cheap anyway ><
That's a pretty cute Sakura. I need a good one for my own collection.
Oh, and I'll have to try SAL with Mandarake next time. EMS costs kill me.
it's from the CLAYZ resign to PVC collection~ there is all sort of different Sakura figures in it. all so cute! when i saw her for 3000 yen only, had to grab it right away xD

The boots were quite flimsy and fail when the dolls were still new (speaking from experience of Fuu-chan ownership ages ago)
The stand is easy - go to any toy shop and grab a small stand (over here in US, hobby shops sell different 1/8 and 1/8 stands too) Hikaru weighs practically nothing and any waist-stand will hold her

the material is horrible~ its sticky and weird =_= i'm thinking of attempting to sew her new ones~ but i'm pretty fail at crafts xD
UK tends to be quite stupid with getting anything, but i will check Hobby Craft ^^ I'm scared she will fall off the shelf without any support~ and don't wanna just keep her in the box~
Like i have said before on other posts. DONT ORDER FROM MADARAKE!!! I ordered there and they asked for my social # and my credit card. And a week later i found a charge of 3,500 USD charged to my credit card not charged to figures. Just warning you. I would hate for this to happen to you.
dear~ thousands of people order from there before for many years and had no problems. i dont know what happened to u, and im very sorry that u very in such a horrible situation. I trust them thought, and when using paypal u control all money going in and out without giving ur bank/card details so it's safe~
Have to agree here. I've bought things from them for years with no issues with going through Paypal.
bought thousands from mandarake, and never had issues. not to mention, if you give your SS# to anything online, your asking to be scammed.
@Kymaera and Freyaamane I use a credit card cause i dont like pay pal sothat might be the issue.

AND I E_MAILED them and they asked for my order id and i gave it to them but the ignored it.

I feel your pain... I have an Akari Kamigishi dollie, (which I LOVE) but her costume is very cheap. ^^;; Still, Hikaru is so neat! <3
