ON: Haruhi Movie Announced for Spring 2010 Release

Following the last episode - Someday in the Rain - of the Haruhi Suzumiya renewal season, Kadokawa and Kyoto Animation announced that a Haruhi movie will be released in theaters this Spring 2010. Details are sparse on the production but the movie is to be based on 'The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya' arc from the fourth novel which follows the Brigade in a "Haruhi-less world of normalcy".
More information will be released on the SOS Dan website as it comes by.

High-Resolution: A Nighttime of Nagato

I knew it! Nagato was the main character all along! lol
i hope this is not a troll
So "Disappearance" ended up becoming a movie instead of part of the second season? This is excellent! This means we get a movie budget for animation rather than a series budget! Will KyoAni still be animating it? I'm so excited! ^o^
As expected. As soon as I read Haruhi movie I knew it was Disappearence. It's pretty much the most coherent novel to adapt into such a format.
cant wait to watch it~!
Kadokawa, accursed trolls!
First you give us the same episode a dozen of times and now we gotta wait for what we were expecting to get this season!?
I hope it's a direct dvd release and not cinema.
It's actually going to be released in Japanese theaters in the Spring. Expect DVD release to follow shortly after though.
YES!!! Epic news indeed~
I just hope they release it in the States. DVD or otherwise.
First of all, that is THE most disappointing trailer ever. Though the news it brings is amazing, I can't wait to see it.
Good news indeed!
awesomeness!!! i'm excited. ^^
Dissappearance movie is awesome... Trailer was kinda bland.
I hope this redeems the show after the Endless Eight fiasco.. XD
I liked Haruhi.. Great news that a movie is coming out ^_^
