Time for a photoshoot with Mikuru

Today I got this little lady. And I’m pretty proud to have her in my little collection.
I made today some pictures with her. But I was not happy with those poor pictures with her. So I had the time and made this today! Good mood is win!

But the real photoshooting starts now:
For the background I used my HDTV with an Orange wallpaper and used the bubble screen saver. I like the outcome pretty much.
And a collab with Yuki…
This was my second shoot. Hope you liked it.
Of course, I’m still a beginner so I would find it great if you left an opinion about this shoot.

Nice Mikuru figure. What kind of camera are you using ? I tried using my hdtv as a background and it failed. Miserably. lol Not a bad shoot I guess. Im still new to photography so I cant say much.

Well, I'm using an DSLR - to be exaclty an Canon Eos 500D.
I used indirect light without the flash to take those pictre.
But you need an tripod for your places that are not very bright and don't want
to use flash. And Setup the Time Value lower than 0.3" (thats why you need the tripod)
And use AV very low too have the only the figure on the mainpoint.
(Sry... My English skills are sometimes very bad)
Nope your english is just fine :] Anyways, I was thinking it was a dslr. I could never get pics that clear with my digital or phone camera. I guess I just need to step up to a DSlr once I get the cash. Also, are you using the lens that came with the camera ? Or did you buy a different set of lens ? Thanks for the tips !
Well, I'm useing the Kit that you can buy.
There is the 500D (or other models)with an 18-55mm lens.
And I used this lens.
Mikuru looks wonderful, you did awesomely by choosing her bg colors, they make her shine out!
