Dakimakura Collection 3

First up we have Himari from Omamori Himari. This one is by Surfer's Paradise and made of the same nice smooth knit material as Nymph. I neglected to mention before, but they had an unusual dimension of 140x56cm compared to the standard 150x50 or 160x50 sizes. While they have no trouble fitting on a COSPA 150x50 pillow body (the only type I have) despite the 140 length (as it's stretchy and doesn't even need to stretch to do it anyway), due to the reduced width of the pillow the image isn't very tight around the body and so will tend to have wrinkles etc since dakimakuras are designed to be slightly stretched when filled with a pillow so that the image won't have any wrinkles from looseness. Which is a bit of a shame, I guess I should get a properly sized pillow for them but the dimensions are rather odd.

Back side. When ordering it I preferred this side, but after getting it I've grown much more fond of the front side. Go figure, somethings just can't be predicted lol.

Felli Loss from Chrome Shelled Regios, made by Chara-hi (or Chara-high, Chara-hai.. seen them listed by all names, I guess hai is probably correct) in Smooth Knit material. Felli was the only good thing in Regios really, but she was so good she single handedly saved the show. However in the anime she's again a very short character, while in dakimakura form she's a very leggy apparently tall person. So quite the disconnect from the shin-kicking chibi, but still looking great.

Back side. Think she was in this dress on the cover of one of the dvds.. can't recall if she wore it in the anime or not.

Yui from Angel Beats! as came with an issue of Dengeki Festival COMIC. Yui's my favourite Angel Beats! character, and she even has stripey thighhighs on in this one, so getting it was a no brainer from the instant I saw the preview shot in the previous issue of DFC. One of the few characters I actually have 2 dakimakura of.

Like how her nightie is transparent to show off her bum :p

Nozomi Kiriya from Mayoi Neko Overrun, smooth knit version by COSPA. As you can see looking at the close-up pictures, COSPA's smooth knit is ridiculously thin and the reverse side is visible through it at any close distance. If you do have a pillow filling it it's not a problem (unless the pillow isn't white for some reason I guess..) but if you want display it hanging you'd better not get too near it (from far away the seethrough aspect is far less noticeable).

Last I checked, HLJ were still offering this for preorder sale, but every time the "release date" gets close they push it back another week.. something very odd going on in their inventory system there!
