Review - figma 043 - Shamal Knight Armor ver.
I haven't done one of these in a long time, so please bear with me ^^;
figma Shamal!
figma Shamal comes with the following:
- figma Shamal
- Hat
- Set of hands (Klarer Wind version)
- figma jointed stand
- figma base
- Bonus face (eyes closed)
- Bonus Bangs (facing left)
- Bonus Unison Hayate head
- Unison Hayate bangs for Beret
- Hayate's Beret
- Reinforce Zwei (figma size)
- "Stand" for Reinfoce Zwei
Shamal's skirt is figma jointed in the back, but sadly doesn't not have a great range of movement. The front of the skirt is also very stiff.
Shamal's bonus face has her eyes closed and concentrating. This face can be used on the other figma in the Nanoha line...
...as seen here being used on the Hayate Yagami figma with the Bonus head for Hayate. The Bonus head also comes with a beret, and a set of bangs to hold the beret like the Hayate figma has.
The set of Wolkenritter is almost complete! All that's left is Vita (coming in November) and Zafira (highly unlikely) and this set will be complete!
It is a shame that the quality of the Reinforce Zwei Bonus part is so low, being sculpted with no eyes being painted on. My one major complaint about this figma set.

....Why does this come with Hayate's hat? Is it any different from the hat that Hayate comes with?
It's no different from the beret Hayate comes with. I have no idea why it was decided to include an extra... just in case you lost the first one maybe? ^^;
In the last picture, how were u supposed to get rinforce zwei to float above hayate's head?

Must be the transparent-ness...I haven't notice the Di:stage until I reread this post and comment. ^^;
I've noticed that it is very difficult to distinguish the di:stage in my pics, mostly because of the background I use in my images ^^; It gives my figures the illusion that they are really floating ;)
I like how you can make her clothes seem very flow-y
got to admit though, the shamal knight looks sloppy in terms of the finished product. i guess its the reason i steer clear of it in the 1st place
I really need to take some cool photos of the Nanoha-tachi that I have. Put that Alpha 900 to use! I am happy that this even came out since it is virtually unknown around these parts where I am at.
Man, I'm really behind on my figure reviews. Cursed exams and the stress of real life. (^.^;)
She looks great and I can't wait to open her up, though I'd rather pose the knights by themselves than together with Hayate.
How do you think I feel, I haven't reviewed anything since like, June because of work! xD
With regards to posing, I'm more a fan of creating situations for large groups of figmas, but to each his own, right? ;)
Ooh....Shamal hasn't arrived in my part of the woods yet. Still 2 more to complete the Wolkenritter for me (as I have no Nanoha or Fate).
Could use more accessories, half of the stuff is for Hayate. Reinforce Zwei having her eyes not painted is a disappointment. But besides those points, the Figma itself seems pretty nice.
The problem is, Shamal doesn't really have any weapons to speak of, as Klarer Wind are the rings on her hands and she uses them to heal and attack from a distance. Maybe a mini figma Zafira would've been a nice addition? I really like the bonuses for Hayate though ^_^
Don't have to be weapons, just some kind of accessory (magic effect parts?).
Shamal is mostly for those who alrighty have Hayate.
