August loot / collection update

Posted by microgamer2vs2 [www]

The last of my August orders came in. This is my first loot post because this is the first month I ever actually ordered a handful of figures that came in at the same time.

C.C. and Yuki were from Mandarake. EMS shipping killed my wallet. Nendoroid Tachikoma, Nadeko, and Zero were from Amiami.

Also, if you would like to help alleviate the dent August has left in my wallet, I'm still selling a few figures here.

This was my room before. It was fine, but the bookcase was rather cluttered. Finally decided to buy a DETOLF.

Temporary re-positioning the collection to move the bookcase to the other side of the room and to construct the DETOLF.

Another part of my loot was this 1/1 scale Dolfie I obtained. Perfect fit.

My DETOLF as it is now. Wires for the DIODER lights are quite messy, but my roommate says it's not noticeable, so it'll do. The DETOLF also freed up space for me to put that black lounge chair. You get great view of a multitude of pantsu when sitting in it.

Bakemonogatari. GSC Hanekawa will be joining them once she comes out.

Gekisou Haruhi + K-On + Angel Beats. I actually got the idea to display the K-On band with the Gekisou band from when I was moving the collection. If you look at the transition pictures, you'll see that I stuck some of the petits onto the bases underneath the scale figures, which turned out to look pretty cute. This pic is also easier to see the acrylic risers I purchased from Amazon.

Alternate color lighting. Really happy that the Gekisou Haruhi set is finished. Now to get matching autographs for Haruhi and Yuki >_>

R+V for the top shelf. You might've noticed that the Touhou figures didn't make the DETOLF. They're just on the bookcase in the same arrangement as the before pic. The main reason for this is that there's no way I could fit Remilia and Flandre into one shelf in a DETOLF, let alone the three other gals. I want to get lighting for them as well, probably going to try for what Wing did for his humble room.

It's the NotePal ErgoStand by Cooler Master. I just got it from Amazon. It's really nice, helps my aging laptop stay alive. It is also a USB hub too.

Haha yeah, before I got the DETOLF I had a handful of figures on my desk. I reduced the amount of figures on my desk because I was afraid I'd knock one of them over or spill something on them.

I really like them too. People always say one of the cons of a DETOLF is that you can't adjust the shelf heights, so the risers help to utilize all the space.

Man, you have a lot of stuff. Awesome room, layout, and well, pretty much everything.

I don't think I see any tapping implements though, don't play anymore?

Ooooo, I'm assuming you're from the GH/RB community? I don't play for accomplishments anymore, but I do RBN authoring work every now and then.

Yep. Hopefully if/when I get lighting for the bookcase they're on I'll be able to post pics and give them more attention.

This particular Zero figure is probably your best bet. He should still be in stock at amiami and hobbysearch. The only other Zero figure I can think of is the figma which is super rare afaik.

Thanks for the tip. I see it on Amiami for about $80. Been thinking of selling my Saber Maid figure to make some room and the money would help to get this figure. Thanks again.

Really nice that your Gekisou band is complete. I spent a long time looking for Yuki.

I stalked Y!JA for a long time to get Haruhi at a slightly more 'reasonable' price, then I just gave up and bought Yuki for 15,000 JPY off Mandarake.

Yeah, this is about every R+V figure that I would want, besides the EX versions of the Shueisha Mizore/Moka. There are some prize figures by SEGA though, but they're not that good.
