After 4 years, Finally got my Shana.

Posted by Deedo [www]

Back in 2007 i saw Shakugan no Shana - Shana - 1/8 (Max Factory) and at that time i was working in an small anime shop. So i asked the owner at the time if he could order this for me from AAA anime since i saw it on there website for preorder. Things happened and i never did get this order at that time. I've seen her pop up from time to time in many places but she was going for 120+ most of the time or sells out before i can get to it. But found her for $75.00 on a website, but sadly she didn't come with her box but that's okay since i was after her and i couldn't really pass up a deal like this.

Thank you, it's a good feeling when you get what's been out of your reach for so long.

She is a really great figure - I can't believe you waited 4 years to get her though. Must be feeling good - hope she was worth the wait. I managed to get mine from Mandarake's online store last year. I love her translucent hair.

Congrats man, I know exactly what it's like. Usually more money than anything, but I have quite a similar story so I can totally relate. In 2008 Yamato released a Noyamano Ringo statue of one of her more 'scantily clad' outfits from the manga and this was just about the time I started to collect. The fig has some sentimental value as it was one of the first mangas I read, and none of the real big manufacturers had really done a good Air Gear PVC till then. Since then I've always been on the lookout for one that doesn't mimic the 200$+ price on eBay, and finally as of last week I found one locally for 80$! The stars have aligned this month! Kudos to our long lost figs!

Don't get me wrong, Shana looks cool with her red eyes and flame hair but I love her normal self. I just think she looks cuter <3 and congrats!

Oh i'm not saying that she's not, but this figure just brought out Shana's fighting spirit. (in a sense) and thank you XD

Thank you, if i got this when it 1st came out then it would have been one of the starting figures i had back then. But also around that time Figmas was coming out as well.

Congratulations! This Shana figure is definitely the one to get, the hair was definitely the one thing that stood out for me that got her on my must buy list (and then her nodachi more than clinched the deal). I mean, four years ago there weren't that many figures with translucent hair, let alone for something as cute and attractive as Shana!

Now that I know you've had a hard time getting her, made me want to treasure mine even more haha. I mean you paid the same cost as the original retail price but now it comes without a box!

Over time things gain more value in this hobby. And from time to time things over time get lost or worn, this much i've come to accept. As long as what i'm looking for was able to stay as close to how it was when it came out even without it's box i'm good with it. But then again it show how much i love my hobbies to be chasing after a figure like this.
