My custom 1/6 Dollfie - Yumiko
I thought I would share some photos of my first custom doll Yumiko ^.^
She is a 1/6 scale Dollfie Plus, 27cm tall with pale skin.
I attempted to paint her myself, which was really tricky as she is so small. The paintwork could be a lot better but it was the best I could do. However I still think she looks very sweet ^.^
I made her dress myself from a Japanese doll pattern book, which was a bit tricky as it's all in Japanese, but I managed to work out what to do in the end!
Here are some photos from her first photo shoot and one from a Doll Meet-Up. She is the tiny one at the front!!
I hope you enjoy looking at my photos ^.^

Yumiko!
Yumiko looks great :) That dress is great, I really like the design.
She looks so tiny in the picture, even the Dals look bigger O_O
When I saw the group photo I didn't even see her in there xD she's adorable though!! Love her :)
Thank you, I'm glad you like her ^^ hehe yes she is hard to spot in the picture! She looked so tiny next to all the full size Dollfies!
Aww thank you :) I was really pleased with her dress, the pattern I made it from was just plain black, so I added the white lace and ribbon to make it a bit different :) She is really tiny, and very delicate when you compare her to Dals or Pullips!
she looks cute, shes tiny, but reali cute, Gratz! =3
Thank you Blue Shu Shu, I'm glad you like her! She is really tiny compared to other Dollfies ^.^
Nice work!
I like how her eyes and hair go together so naturally :)
Thank you jadepixel ^.^ I fell in love with her eyes when I saw them online, and thought it would look pretty if her hair colour matched them. I think it makes her eyes stand out more too ^^
She turned out really well. I forgot how small 1/6 really is until your last picture. It makes your dress making skills more impressive, since dress patterns are hard enough at only 1/4 size.
Thank you ^.^ Her dress was really fiddly to make as it was so tiny! Attaching the sleeves to the dress was the hardest bit as the opening was so little! It took a long time to make but I think it was worth it in the end :)
