        Hum. Then I would rely more on which service provider you're going for. I would say none of them are drastically different. There will be odd app compatibility issues here and there, but basic social uses across all phones are about the same including say Win7 phones.

        Personally i think the Galaxy S2 is about the better of the three, but I own neither.

    Don't forget to check out some of the new Windows Phones out on the market too. I have an LG Optimus7 and love it. If you're heavily plugged into social media, there's really no better OS (especially with 7.5 coming this fall).

    A few of the Android phones on the market are nice, but your experience will be highly determined by which phone you buy. There's a lot of fragmentation on that platform so apps may not run the same on every device.

    For disclosure purposes, I do work for Microsoft... :)

    I'm personally a huge fan of the Xperia Arc, it just looks the most aesthetically pleasing out of the others, but apparently the Galaxy S2 is arguably the best phone you can purchase on the market at the moment.

    Meh, I've never been a fan of Android anyway, iOS and WP ftw! Haters gonna hate.

    Samsung Galaxy S2 is currently the best phone in the market until October comes around with more beefier specs. Choose your poison.

    I have the Xperia Arc and I really like the screen and the camera; however, the case it's made of cheap plastic and my home button color already fading away. I only have it for 4 months.

    i using samsung galaxy s2 now and but battery usage maybe a concern depending on how you using it. well not that other 2 have great battery also.

    also, i know you might not want to hear this, iphone is actually more suitable for tech newbie as they offer out of the box usage far better. Not that those 3 don't work out of the box, but android offer more if you know how to customize it. maybe you can wait till news on iPhone 5 and compare.

    If you prefer using it out of the box without meddling ard too much, get iPhone. But you like to customize and like play around more with your phone, either 1 of those 3 will be fine.

    I will suggest S2, no regret for me.

    Obviously Galaxy s2;;; because it is faster than among them because of the dual core processors.
    It has Super AMOLED plus to increase better LCD screen. It runs 2.3 Gingerbread, but you can root it and flash a ROM and custom kernel(if available) to get maximum power of Android~~^^;;
    8 megapixels camera and flash, front face camera, dual core processors, and it just came out to market;;; If you wait little more there are many devices coming out such as galaxy note, nexus prime, galaxy skin, atrix 2, etc..

    Galaxy S2, screen is so vibrant and they're really light, as light as your empty wallet after purchasing one. hehe =)
    Also there is a revised 1.5Ghz coming out soon.

    Considering these are smartphones with a significant price, do you really need a smartphone? Maybe a normal cellphone will suffice.

    And an Android based mobile phone will take some getting used to and you'll get more use and joy out of it if you're tech savvy or look into how it works. We issue lots of Samsung Galaxy smartphones with corporate mail sync to managers at work, usually because they've seen their colleagues with them and we've already had to help some just to enter the PIN code or how to send a simple sms text message.
