Lonely Mio
Whenever I went to work Mio would always throw a fit or give an excuse for me to stay with her and Mizuki. I see a couple of doll owners have the same problem XD. It's nice for them to persuade you to stay since they miss you but alass, you know you have to go. Here is a short story of Mio on a normal day while I am away.
Sometimes...I wait by the door just to see if she'll come back early. I miss her so much..
I lay and wait for her to come home. At times, her many plushies like Leo Jr. give me comfort telling me that she always comes home no matter what.
Becoming impatient, I look out the window.
And all I see is this depressing rain that falls. The drive way empty showing my friend has not come home yet.
Though her gifts are nice, the best gift is her presence. I love hearing her laugh, her voice, and that soft smile. Please...come home soon..
Surrounding myself with friends, I lie and wait for her to come home. I have tried EVERYTHING for her to stay. Why won't she stay? Doesn't she love us any more?
Mio: No! Wait! Don't go!
Me: Mio we have been over this ^^;; I have to go to work. *heads out door*
Mio: Matte yo! I-I have something important to show you!
Me: ???
Mio: U...Uno....*brings out Elizabeth* H-Have you seen Elizabeth?! I think she needs to be tuned! ^_^
Me: Mio-chan, I tuned her 2 days ago. She is fine. If it's bad I will check on it later, neh?
Me: Anyways, I have to go to work sweetie ^_^ I'll be back before you know it.
Mio: OH! I KNOW! *brings out tea* how about a cup of tea before you leave? ^o^
Me: Mio-chan I'm going to be late at this rate ^^;; maybe this evening all right?
Mio: *determined look* LAST STRAW! *brings out the mini Mio* Mistress...I give you this sacrifice.
Mini Mio: please don't! ; _ ;
Me: O_O Mio that's not very nice! Put her down!
Me: Don't worry Mio ^_^ I'll be home before you know it. I promise I'll do all of those things when I get back okay?
Mio: *sulks* ...fine
Hours have passed by slowly, I hope she isn't mad at me for making her late for work. I hope she made it on time...*hugs her knees close as she sulks*
Me: *Bursts in room* Tadaima Mio-chan! ^_^ I got you a present!
Mio: *inwardly sigh, 'ANOTHER present? What is it this time?'*
Me: Teehee ^-^ *gives her a small grey bottle with her name on it* I keep seeing these at my job and I always think of you. Cool aren't they?
Mio: *speechless as she stares at bottle* it's the best gift...I have ever received.
Me: Honto?! ^^ I'm glad you like it.
Mio: I'll certainly treasure it...arigatou Mitsuki.
Me: Your welcome Mio :)

Daaw. She's so much more. . . quiet than Agatha. I'll have to show you guys what *she* thinks of me leaving one of these days. XD But though your Mio is adorable, I agree she could use a hobby or two to keep her busy. I suggest, given her musical tendencies, messing around with learning audio programs would be a good one, though Agatha disagrees. She says, "What that girl needs is to engineer her own sound equipment!" I think she sometimes forgets that not everyone is as mechanically minded as she is. XD

Awww! I know exactly what's going on here! I've dealt with such things too! =3 It's really adorable how DD's will do anything to keep us around. You took some great pics here and the story was good. Nice poses on Mio, you could tell she was lonely.
Soo cute, yet sad... Maiya has the Neko to harass, so she's not lonely when I go to work.. (also, she pigs out on my snacks and watches anime during the day)
Been working on her Imouto today.. If I can get the eyes to stick in, I'll be able to introduce her. (bloody "eye putty" is seriously annoying to work with, and can I find the little glue gun I bought to modify into an "eye glue gun"?) =_=

While the story was entertaining, all i could think the whole way through was
"why isn't she wearing any pants?
Kinda ruined it XD
*Snickers* Sadly though, Mio-chan's dress is being custom made and it taking quite a bit of its time XD but she is comfortable what she is wearing at the moment especially when she's at home. Plus it kept her cooler during the summer XD poor dear.
Poor girl, she needs to learn to live more in the moment. She's got lots of friends around, she should enjoy their company while you're out. If that doesn't work for her maybe she needs a hobby or pet. XD
