Construction of the 2 new rooms~! [gaming+otaku] Part 1

Hi all :D First post here actually, after a LONG time lurking hehe :) I wanted to start with some photos of the 2 new rooms we're getting in the house. The double garage is being changed over to be a living + gaming room, and the other side of it - the PC + collection room! Construction has just started, and it'll take about 1 month to finish it to the point I can start emptying all my boxes of figures, plushies and stuff back out.

At the moment, it's all in the spare bedroom (which used to be mine growing up), and its got quite crowded :S 2 big 150cm desks, 160cm 4x4 cube unit, and a wall full of shelves for the collection and display of Sylvanian Families figures + homes that Mum and I collect together.

So with the 2 new rooms, this room (spare room/old bedroom) can finally be Mum's office again, and then spread out downstairs, and not fall on top of boxes and collection stuff that just has no shelf space to be put on anymore >.>

We don't have Ikea here T-T but we do have similar shops with the same types of furniture. So we've got all the furniture ready to deck out the 2 new rooms ^^ Including 3 glass door bookcases (white :D) for the anime figures! Lots of cool stuff to add aswell, but you'll see it as the posts come in each week of progress :D

So far, just pictures of construction (framing has almost finished). The sliding doors coming tomorrow, go in on Thursday :) Tomorrow - we go to buy the lighting! (If you know of a good type of lights to show off figures but not blind you if you want to leave them on, please say :D). Next week - plastering :D
