Sheryl & Ranka

Posted by ener [www]

More art! Danny's post inspired me to stop being so shy and just post without worry. ^^
The lineart version of this was the masquerade backstage pass for Anime Expo 2009 in Los Angeles. My friend asked me for a favor, which led to me doing this for her.

Originally it was just supposed to be Sheryl (I really wanted stripperific Sheryl, to be specific), but late at night/early one morning I doodled her with Ranka and liked it a lot.

This is my ghetto iPhone photo of the actual backstage pass. Took this while stalking the auctions for Morning Musume goods on the last day of the convention. ^^

I ended up coloring it and selling a full 13x19 piece at the Art Show. If any of you folks bought it, thank you so much!!!

Thanks very much! I'm not really confident in my coloring skills, so I'm glad people like it. I used Painter 11 with a dash of Photoshop CS4 (I can't remember what was done in PS besides the stars, though!).

Thanks for all the comments everyone! ^o^
