Advice about pricing needed!^^

Posted by LantisLT

Hi!

Thought about selling some of my figures, but really don't have a clue what they are worth now. I know that they are quite rare, but since they aren't new and were on display, I don't know what should I consider a fair price. Since they have some problems, should I even bother selling them?

Chua Churam by Alter - great condition. There's a small paint chip on her guitar. I received it like that.:(

Kotone Ousaka by Native - great condition. The pegs on the table were to big to fit, so I have trimmed them to size.

Kanu Unchou Swimwear ver. by Kurushima - her ahoge is broken, also the very end tip of her hair tail broke off and there's a very small paint chip on the back of her hair.

All with their boxes.

Yah, u should sell them, even if they are displayed or have a tiny bit of problems, it is good to have the boxes around. If you crunch some numbers to deduct from the original value of when you bought them then that is the price tag. Besides you are the the seller, set the price you think is right and comfortable for the comsumers and you, nothing too high(it will scare people) or nothing too low(then you wouldnt make that much money).

Srry if I make things complicated for setting the price, I hope others' comment to suit you better than mines.

Good rule of thumb is 50-75% of what you paid depending on the popularity and availability of the stuff. Really check the items over as well for problems. Found this out myself when I sold a Figma Mio and the bass had stained the figure slightly. Can be a big issue to some collectors.

You can also check e-bay or myfigurecollection.com for some pricing reference. Ebay prices are usually overpriced so I would probably make it somewhat cheaper. Good luck on your sales!
