EFSF Zeta Plus A1 (E)

It was a last minute deciding to give this Bandai x Danny Gundam contest a try. I do not have any confidence also it just that my MG 1/100 Zeta Plus A1 has been kept safe in my closet for coming two years now and it’s time to shine again. I got to say I really love this Zeta Plus, really wish to see more variation from A to D version.

I’m not really good at hard mod on Gunpla, only some basic soft mod and adding extra smaller stuffs from Kotobukiya to make it more details without hurting much on the MG kit.

For the color of choice, Mica Red, Gunship grey, Lin Gray, White Pearl and another Mr Hobby which totally forget what color is that. All are using Tamiya spray cans and Mr Hobby fine coating. I don’t really intend to used White Pearl color but due to the international law. There is no way I can order from HLJ again. Man, I missed Mr Hobby so much. Tamiya paint is not bad also and lucky enough my nearby local shop is selling it but also do not have any stock for WHITE!!!

All decals are mix, I don’t know but the Samuel Decal stuff are so weak and easily torn off not before applying it. Sign~! I wonder it is because of the quality of the water decal paper are weak or I have to applied something into it before it can put on water. Need some advice on it. Bandai decals are fine for me but not Samuel Decal one.

Alright, let me explain some idea of mine for Zeta Plus A1 (E), mean enhance version. The only different is not just the improvement on Zeta Plus A1 itself. It allows swapping weapons and equipping with booster pack (which I stole it from Macross F) no matter it was in MA or MS mode. There are ways to improve on the design but due to my lack of time and recently switching to new jobs. I have to find a better way to equip the booster. This is why you see the when equip it there are less posing.

Nonetheless, I am satisfy with my work adding booster into Zeta Plus A1 and looks pretty good at it. The most I wish it was Zeta Plus C1 because it will looks more badass in flight mode and better posing in MS mode too.
