My Anime Club's Swap Meet 2011
Every semester my local anime club has their annual swap meet, where members and local fans of Japanese Pop Culture can sell off their stuff for money. Its always nice to see the various kinds of things that people sell during this event, though I usually don't buy anything, mostly because there isn't really anything I see I want to buy, and also because I'd rather save my money for better things.

These are photos from both the 2011 spring and fall semester Swap Meet held by SFSU's Anime FX club. The first half of these photos are from spring semester earlier this year.
Old School manga.
Bin full of free stuff.
Some nice doujins for sale. I've seen some of these far sale advertised on Figure.fm before like the Madoka ones.

My friend shows what he bought for only $13 for both.
Of course we also have sellers selling stuff for the 18+ audience. I didn't actually look at those items though.
My friend, while not selling anything, was showing the Touhou anime as entertainment. Lots of people were interested in the way it looks especially for it being fully fan made doujin anime. Well most things of Touhou are fan made right?

If you noticed, I finally have a new camera, a Canon EOS Rebel T3. It's my first DSLR camera so I've been testing it around, though I still got to read the manual to really get to know all the features.
This is this semester's main club room, showing one side of the swap meet.
I enjoy coming to my anime club's swap meet because it's a photo op for me to show what J-pop events happens in my area. It's also nice to look around at all the items, though I rarely buy anything. I won't really have many more posts for a while because of school and also because the next big event I'll cover will be in February at AOD. I will be more active in my own blog Topic "Otaku" so check me out there!
