Camera help :<

Hi everybody!

To think this would be my first post which I sort of didn't want to turn out like this but I wanted to get advice and recommendations onto what pro-photography camera I should get since I have no cameras at all (excluding phones).

I wanted to take pictures of my figures to share to you guys and also I am planning to go overseas to Japan next year or so.

I got a budget about...$500-$1000 or maybe a bit more and am willing to pay extra for any other lens and such for better quality photos, since I would be taking a lot of photos of figurines and other random landscape stuff and such.

And I have been researching and was thinking of getting a Canon EOS 7D, though I wonder if I should buy it on amazon cheaper? lol
