Seikon no Qwaser: Unique Pillows

Posted by alamarco [www]

When I first seen these pillows I was immediately intrigued. First of all, I like Seikon no Qwaser as I find it an interesting anime. Second of all, I've never seen a pillow with oppai protruding from the pillow. Thus, I couldn't pass up this unique opportunity to see what these pillows would be like.

These pillows are manufactured by GUN-ZO. They're a company who produces a lot of anime merchandise and they generally produce quality items from my experience. Both pillow casings came with their own pillow bodies which helped make shipping more expensive. It saved time having to buy a pillow, but the pillow size is a regular sized pillow so I would of preferred getting one locally and save on shipping.

Overall, I'm really glad I bought these pillows as I really enjoy the soft feel and the beautiful images.

The design of this pillow casing is the same design used in their oppai mousepads. I find the image to be very attractive and love that GUN-ZO went with this image. This side of the pillow casing is the SFW side, so I'll be putting it on display using this side. The material of the pillow casing is very soft and comfortable. I'm very impressed with the feel of the material as I really dislike the pillow casing that use the rough, jean like material.

The oppai are somewhat disappointing. While I like the look of the oppai, they just don't feel like what I was expecting. I was generally expecting a soft and firm feel. Instead, the oppai are a tiny bit harder and heavier than an oppai mousepad. Definitely the biggest disappointment as you don't really expect hardness in a pillow.

Really, the best description would be to just imagine bigger oppai than that on the oppai mousepads.

Here we have Tomo. While I like the charafter of Mafuyu more, this image of Tomo really trumps Mafuyu's. There's a certain feel of ecstasy with this Tomo image. Like Mafuyu, this image was the same as Tomo's oppai mousepad.

That's a shame the oppai turned out to be too hard :< Still quite nice though! Think the extra shipping cost from them being pillows and not just covers would put me off ever getting them though... Were they vacuum wrapped for shipping?

Yup, the pillow bodies were vacuum wrapped and the pillow casings came separate. It really added a lot of unnecessary weight as getting pillows locally would of been a lot cheaper.

Yup, Tomo is awesome. Teressa would of been nice, and I'd probably of picked her up too. I definitely wouldn't of gotten Katja.

Agreed, they turned out to be good buys. I'd recommend them to any pillow lovers, unless they dislike the heavier oppai.

AmiAmi, Tomo is sold out, but Mafuyu still has a chance on back order.
