Congratulations Sas-chan! This trip is really turning out to be something special for you. BTW, have you thought about cosplaying as Minami? Since she is your Lucky Star fave, you might want to try it out while you are still in Tokyo.
I can't cosplay cool characters since I'm not cool at all ^^;;;

Nah, you're plenty cool. Spending 6 months in Japan doing what you want is pretty cool considering most people will never even take the first step to making their dreams come true. As for the cosplay, I'm sure there are places where you can rent the right clothing and take some pics even if they are only for you.

I know that feeling all too well but now that you've been there, you know what to do to get there. Start saving up the money again for the next time.

I know that feeling very well. Having to wait a year to visit again kills me but on the other hand it gives me something to look forward to on the next trip. Seeing what's changed and what hasn't is kinda exciting. Last year I left before the new Keisei train from Narita was online but this year I was able to ride it in to Tokyo. Seems kinda small but still kinda interesting after seeing several news clips about it.
*nods* I know what you mean :) Tokyo always chance which is why it's such an interesting city ^o^ btw, about those boxshops, you can't miss it! :) Same street as Radio Kaikan, but right on the corner ^o^, boxes are on first floor so you will notice it immediately! ^^ They also have boxes inside Volks! ^o^
Cool, thanks for the info. Those boxshops and the stores with the figures in little plastic bags on their walls are a treasure trove of stuff. Really like the little figures because I can bring back so many. Brought back 47 of them and about a dozen boxed figures. Still small compared to other comrades loots but I'll try to get more next trip. LOL

And reading your conversation with LoganRunn made me think of all those great feelings of anticipation and achievement we get as we save up and work hard to attain our goals and dreams! I know I'll work hard to go back again next year for my fifth year straight!! Tokyo is a wonderful metropolis and Japan is a gorgeous country. Cheers Saskia-san!!

I wish Japan was a bit easier with its Visa requirements so I could stay longer. Needing a college degree really makes it hard since a lot of people don't have one because of how expensive college is. Been seriously considering moving to Hawaii so I can be relatively close and be able to visit more often.
*nods*..difficult indeed.. but I have to do it somehow XD..
just need to work again because of money and will try to stay longer next time ^^;;
