2nd Japan Trip - Day 3 Photos - Harajuku
On my third day I went to Harajuku. It was a Sunday which is when Harajuku is supposed to be at it's best. I meant to go to the park before seeing what the shopping area was like. But I never made it to the park. Spent ages in the shopping area. It was crazy busy. The main street was like two big queues, one going either way down the street. The fashions on display by the crowd were immense too - lots of cosplay style outfits on show too. Harajuku is really mental and I highly recommend visiting.
I also saw a really cool female singer-songwriter in a phone shop, and visited a crazy gallery which deserves it's own post so haven't posted pictures here.
I've also got a load more Akihabara photos from this day which will also be getting their own post.

The entrance to Harajuku. AKB48 shop straight ahead!
I ate a beef bowl at that Yoshinoya.

It's crazy crowded in Harajuku. It's like queuing to walk down the street!
You need reservations to get into that AKB48 Official Shop which is a shame.

Entrance to the main street...

Some crazy outfits were on display...

This guy was shouting at the top of his voice through that loudspeaker. So noisy.

Big queue for Crepes. I didn't get one.

Would be interested in seeing this Hello Kitty Monster Cosplay...

More crazy fashions on display.

They love advertising stuff on the side of lorries in Japan. Last year I saw a cool AKB48 lorry!

Rescue Squad shop.

Crowded on the pavements!

The queue here went all the way down that back alley. I am not sure what it was for.
There were huge queues for a lot of restaurants though I think this was for some live performance.

Acchan and Yuko opening their beauty.

This was a cool phone shop which had live bands inside!

Lots of girls going crazy for this boyband in the phoneshop.

They then all ran outside to queue for their autographs.

I really really liked this female singer-songwriter.

Unfortunately, I have no idea what her name is. She mentioned CDs a few times, so I thought she'd be selling them like that boyband were. Alas, she did not. However, I recorded quite a few songs on my iPhone (fittingly, since I was in a phone shop).

Acchan is a Cutie.

This cool shop had a plane inside!

And you could go inside the plane and buy things!

The crepe shop again.
It was getting dark so I'd missed the park, so headed back to Akiba...
