Dollfie & Figure Loot from Tokyo!
Hi everyone! I just got home last night from a lovely trip to Tokyo. I'm still in the midst of unpacking, sorting photos and whatnot but I'm so excited about my loots that I had to share! I'll be posting more photos as I sort them but here's just a quick teaser!
I went with my hubby, my sister, and 3 friends and we had an awesome time. The yen exchange rate is horrible right now, but that didn't stop us from doing a lot of shopping!
Here are the larger figures that hubby and I picked up. We didn't bring home that many since we were in Tokyo earlier this year in January and did a ton of figure shopping already. A few things are figures we have already but hubby wanted some to keep BNIB. We have 2 of the Bomé #1 figure already and both are damaged... >__<" I don't have pics of the trading figures/ gach figures since most of them are still packed.
The Disney Tomy toys are something that I've been collecting here and there for about 8 years so it's always nice to find some.

Here are a few Gloomy Bears I picked up for my collection. I love the new Halloween ones!! I don't usually collect bloody Gloomy bears but these were so cool I couldn't pass them up. I also found one of the Sweets & Messy ones that I was missing!

Since I was a totally new to the doll hobby on my last visit I didn't buy many DD clothes but I think I made up for it on this trip. Hubby lined up for 3 hrs in the rain outside the Volks Akihabara showroom to get me the new items from the Dollfe Dream Gathering this past weekend. I also adopted the renewal model of Yukino. (The outfits that Airy and Yukino are wearing were also purchased on this trip).
A few of the doll things are things that some friends asked me to pick up for them, but for the most part this haul is mine :D I managed to get 2 of the new 06 heads and the Shapely L bust in normal skin and white skin.
I found some great deals on wigs at Dollyteria (inside Closet Child in Ikebukuro) and Mandarake and found some cool stuff at the Dolk showroom as well.

Here's a close up of the doll sized food items that I found :D

Holy shit, how much money did you took with you?! O,O
Sorry for this hard reaction but...but...well...thats...wow...and...crazy...and...wow... @.@ *gets knocked out by loot shock*
I knew I'd spend a lot the moment they announced the DD Gathering would be on the weekend I was there >___<"
It didn't seem like a lot since I'd grab a few things here and there but to see it all laid out together is pretty awesome.
Amazing! ^^
WANT!!!!!! O.O
whoahhh .. someone have been busy ! thats a HUGE LOOT ! must be fun !
Thanks for your help too!
I found the cookpot. I must have spent an hour on the kitchen floor - one of the sales people told me they must be sold out because she didn't know what it was but since you had found it before I was hellbent on finding it... Turns out it was on the floor with the travel goods -___-" LOL
LOL.. i guess i forgot to tell u the floor ><".. you would find it faster ..
It's ok, the longer I spent on the kitchen goods floor the more bento box stuff I ended up buying! LOL
LOLZ
Huge loot is huge!
Whoa! Congrats, especially on getting the new Yukino. ^_^
Say, if it wouldn't be too troublesome, can I request that you take some close-ups of the blank 06's? The Volks blank photos are all at weird angles and/or low res enough to not be all that helpful.
Sure - I'll do it sometime tomorrow for you :D
Thanks a bunch! :D
Here you are:

Thanks a bunch! Those are the clearest, most helpful pictures of the head I've seen so far. :)
You're welcome :D
Glad they are useful. The head is really very pretty.
JELLY! SO. JELLY.
Cute I love collecting these. :D
Me too! I found so many of them at Daiso (a 100 yen store) and just kept tossing them into my basket.
Awesome loots ;D I'm so jealous...I wish I had money. ;~;
Don't we all T_T
I've been saving up for this trip for months. And then I'll be paying off my credit card for the next few months too...
Shopping in Japan is painful on the wallet >___<"
Wow! Are you planning a photo shoot soon? So many outfits! Your girls are spoiled. :P
Another question, how did you manage fit all that in your luggage :o
Well I went with my carry-on that was full of all my clothes, my large luggage was pretty much empty with a few things and lots of bubble wrap. Hubby fit all his clothes into his carry-on, and had a big suitcase inside a bigger suitcase - both stuffed with bubble wrap (so they wouldn't get crushed in the cargo hold, and also for practical purposes on the way home). We also brought some fold-up duffle bags for our friends just in case they over-shopped too.
The DD outfits I laid flat in my carry-on. I opened up the small boxes with the DD optional hands and put them into the larger ones (head & bust) and flattened down the small boxes & tucked them in a side pocket. Yukino I wrapped in bubble wrap and had in my tote bag. Her box was flattened and tucked inside one of the large suitcases.
The large figures were "tetris"-ed in and in some cases wrapped in bubble wrap.
Wow, not only did you get some awesome figure stuff, your "Doll Haul" is mindbending! XD Reminds me of when I went over there last year. I spent SO MUCH on DD stuff, it was crazy, but man did I have fun! You grabbed some excellent outfits and goodies for your girls, I hope you take pics of them all and share soon! =3 Congrats on Yukino V2 as well.
Thanks! :D
I gotta know, how much did you pay for this Kanu dress? =3
9875 yen - retail price, but with crappy yen conversion rate. It's not for me - I was asked to keep an eye out for it by SouthernBelleCA.
WOW! So lucky! I never see it go for less than $175 or so on ebay or YJA. Good job finding that one! Nicole will be pleased. =3
I love this set! I wish I had one. Congrats on that!
Oh really? They still had them in stock at the Shinjuku ALTA Tenshi-no-Sumika showroom!
There is a Dolk showroom? @@ The company that make silicon headcaps? wow. @@
Yes, they have 2 showrooms actually - one on top of each other called Dolk, and Dolk PLUS. The "Plus" shop has a photo space. It's a 5 min walk from the Akihabara Electric Town JR exit.
And I picked up a lot of silicone headcaps while I was in there too. LOL
Wow~
So many lovely dd stuff~
congrats!
Thank you ^__^"
Nice loot. Especially all the nice things you got for your DD :)
Aaaah~! Rilakkuma ! *3* So cute!
Lennard had the same reaction I did! WHAT IN THE WORLD?!! Did you win the lottery?! XD Simply amazing and very very very spoiled girls! XD Teehee!
Yes, they are very spoiled. I spent more on doll stuff on this trip than I did for myself - lol
But it helps that I can't fit into any of the cute lolita dresses or any shoes in Japan, saves money for other things!
Thats quite the haul!! Wish i could go over there and buy some great doll stuff.
