Ibuki 1/4 scale sculpt mixed-media

Posted by tonyu [www]

UPDATE: Ninja outfit finally done! What do you guys think? :)

UPDATE: Ibuki's finally nearing completion! I'm making only a very limited amount so if you're interested please send me an email at tonyu.statues@gmail.com so I can add you to my list.

UPDATE: Sorry it took a while to update. While her costumes are being sewn, both ninja and school uniform, I decided to cast her in resin. I also developed a special flexible resin for her hair so it won't snap or even crack during shipping. Will post colored and clothed pics soon ^_^

Hello, new guy here! Here's my WIP pics of Ibuki from Street Fighter. Originally this was meant to be a cast-off/hentai figure but I decided to go with cloth instead to make her look good with existing Street Fighter mixed-media statues. Currently doing some finishing touch ups before casting into resin, and also started working on her clothes.

    Wow that's coming along really well. The cloth stretched over her will look really nice and that scale looks mind blowing.

    Thanks guys!

    @Saikou & Freefall

    Thanks guys! Yup it's wood but with putty for details. Although this is just for the master sculpt because I'm going to cast it in resin afterwards :)

    That's pretty damn impressive. Do you do this professionally, or is it just a hobby?

      Thanks! Both actually, but mostly on the professional side. I used to produce non-anime GK's and fully colored figures before on a small quantity, so now I decided to try a anime/fusion starting with this one.

      Thanks! Yeah maybe I could post a tutorial, although I think it won't be helpful much because the tools used are homemade...
