Konomi-neesan

Boy, a lot changed with Konomi between Junior High and High School. Taka-bou now has two neesan types to choose from. Unless they team up, of course.
I bought a 1/7 scale resin kit of Ryofu Hosen on sale a while back, and I was thinking about building it, when I decided that I wanted a Konomi Yuzuhara figure instead. I thought about it for a bit, then I went to work.
I used Apoxie Sculpt two-part epoxy putty to add all the details I needed. I added a spare ahoge that I had kicking around. Paints are Tamiya acrylics and Tamiya lacquer sprays, along with some Vallejo acrylics for touch up.
I used this kit as a base:
And finally, some in-progress shots, to show how I put things together. The grey is the epoxy putty.
Pretty decent work.. When I saw it, I immediately guessed it was a Royoufu Housen kit.. Pretty decent job on a resculpt. You should consider joining us at gkjapan.com
Thanks! I have a lot to learn, but I feel like I'm making real progress. I've been to gkjapan.com before, but I didn't really have anything worthwhile to show there. I'll have to see if I can up my game a bit, then join in.
Nothing you have to game up about.. We're not that scarey of people trust me ^_^ And if you wanna learn we got some good resources for doing so.
