Have you ever seen Ringu? That's the original one and creepy as hell.
*nods* O_O very creepy indeed ^^;; I saw the Japanese and American versions (same for the grudge) and really enjoyed them!! :3 (even though I always regret watching horror movies...I'm scared for weeks ^^;;;)...
Don't know why but the US version didn't creep me out at all. I think its because they depend too much on special effects whereas the J-versions let the viewers imagination do the work and that's lots scarier. One of my fave horror writers is H.P. Lovercraft who wrote stuff almost a century ago and he also left stuff to people's imagination. Read him if you get the chance. His stories are short but awesome.
