Cool, not bad. Though I think it's abit overdone. If he could get so battle damaged, he would have lost a leg or two.

Setsuna must be really lazy in the whole concept of "taking care of your ride, and himself"... Ya the weathering is a bit overdone. It gives it a more rusting feeling. This would be what Exia looked like after First season and before Second Season of 00

Well, ordinary bullets could do that amount of damage to any Mobile Suit that doesn't have a working GuffiN-Drive.
It looks yes. However, the cape is a little underwhelming. You might want to poke some holes in it to give it the shot-at feel everything else has.

Well, the effect is good, but overdone it... it looks like Exia just fell into a mud hole rather than being weathered^^

The holes are nice effect, I guess the mud effect came from the way you applied the weathering. Good job on your first weathering job! Though it makes me cry thinking about how much that kit costs ^_^; Man, Graham did a number on Exia didn't he?

I agree that it looks overdone, but way better than any weathering I could do, great job!

It's impressive work even though it's overdone. The cloak is very nice. But the body is a bit too much though.

Haven't done weathering myself but from what I know, when doing weathering, you have to know why is it damaged here (eg, rifle/beam damage? space debris collision?), or how does it get the rust there. You have to figure out the logic places like edges to do weathering instead of just unleashing a "bomb" onto the kit. Hope that helps. ^^

Setsuna: it'll take a week to get the grime off my gundam! animator: Sorry Setsuna, just dela with it, this is my choice. Exia: oh god, its in every nook and cranny in my body... SOMEBODY PLEASE CLEAN ME!!

fans: We'd want to pilot you rather than clean you.

It looks like Exia fell into a giant mud puddle and rolled around with it to extinguish the flames and it ruined its coat.

Too muddy. With that level of burns the armour should be blistered and cracked everywhere. It wouldn't really be armour at that level.

I never tried weathering before, but I do think too much mud as well. Exia Repair Kit is also next in my list so I might as well try out weathering.
