American Fate Extra PSP.
So as it's been posted here alot and as most of us is have been waiting for the long waited Fate Extra for the PSP to be released in the states. The day has come and i just picked it up.
Noted that i haven't played the Japanese ver. and i'm very sad about it, but glad to see everything came over (but the figma that i don't have). But we did get the Art Book, Soundtrack. So this is just the opening of the game since i haven't got into the game right away. But i am going to be playing this on any free time i have at work and when i'm at home.
When i picked it up i was the only person to have preordered at the gamestop near me, and there only getting in one. So i don't know if this game was just brought over for whatever reason or was the Japanese ver. that good that the fans want it here. I will soon fine out!

I got my pre-order. Problem is its at the Gamestop my friend works at back home and I'm away at college :( Guess I have to wait...

Hopefully it also gets released in the PAL regions, or I'll just import the American edition after my exams are all over and I'm ready to waste hours on games, hah.
At least psp isn't region coded, so if you can pick up an american copy it'll be translated and all the voices are still in Japanese.
A friend of mine at gamestop told me since this is considered a niche game, they will only get in Limited Editions for those that pre-ordered. I have one on pre-order, but I am very torn if the extras are worth a non-vita compatible version. $40 for limited with UMD, or $25 for standard version on PSN, that I can later play on vita.
BTW, can you post some pics of the game stop exclusive extra (online pre-order)? or was yours an in-store pre-order?
Mine was in-store. I didn't even know there was a online extra. And i didn't really see anything about it online as well. lol oh-well i'm having fun with it now. XD
FYI, Gamestop PO version of Limited Edition comes with an extra Fate/The Fact...

Yea i read around and found it. But either way i'm content with what i got.
Both my Gamestops and nearby Wal-Mart didn't have it. Both Gamestops said there was a possible delay so I ended up waiting and got the PSN version instead. Playing that now and congrats on you getting your NA version!
As far as i know if you didn't get it perordered, i don't think they'll send out to a store. Or if they do it'll just end up somewhere random. Since i got the ONLY copy that store got (and will get so they say at this time) and i was the only one who even reserved it. But thanx! ^0^\
Slower deliveries? Heard rumors that Fate/Extra's UMD version will hit Canadian stores on November 8th, crazy. Only copy? Love that feeling.
This was the store that is closest to me, so i can't say for a fact. But from what others have been telling me and reading about, seems to be very limited.

Can you play it on the PS3? I thought all it was a DL ver of the UMD, but need a PSP to play the PSP DL games. I've DL'd Fate Unlimited Code and i could only play that on my PSP.
I've been told you can buy the game/download it on the PSNetwork to play on PS3... now you're making me not sure and I'll hafta doublecheck!
Please do, i want to play this game. But i also like to play it on my big TV and not my small PSP.
I know someone will tell me to get the cords to display it on my TV, but i have a 1st gen japanese PSP and it doesn't work on it, i've tried... lol
Only PS1 classics can be played on both the PS3, and the PSP through the PSN store. PSP games can not be played through the PS3. Though it would be a really nice feature to add. I would buy a lot more PSP games if I could play them on my normal TV.

You can't play PSP games bought on PSN in the PS3, I thought about it, but been confirmed that you can only download it on to your PS3, then connect the PSP with a USB cable to the PS3 and transfer the said PSP game. Hope it clears some doubts.
That's what i thought since the only games that i know you can play on the PS3 (besides what's for the PS3) is the PS1 games as well as being able to transfer them to the PSP and play as well.
I got a hold of the game too, wanted to play since the Jap release!

snow storm kicks in and close most of my gamestop
stores locations.

I pre-ordered mine through Amazon, and because I'm cheap, I went for the free shipping. I can wait a few days for it to arrive.

So beautiful *o* I hope my copy arrives in the mail today! The only reason I ordered online was for the Fate/The Fact Booklet that Gamestop gave you for buying it online. Have fun with your copy!
I didn't even know gamestop was doing that online, and i still wouldn't have bought from gamestop online. I try to not buy from gamestop as much as i can, but they do get some of the harder to get game for perorder.
Can not wait to play mine! ;D
