I would call this the Tori no Ichi Matsuri, Day of the Bird, (酉の市) but Wikipedia is telling me something different :p..
You can buy a Kumade, which is a good-luck rake is made of bamboo, decorated with masks and koban (old gold coins).
People buy them to improve business and profit for the coming year.
It's a popular and well-celebrated event! :3
