Figma 061 Nakano Azusa maintenance - cleaning off stain
Sat 2011/11/05 02:08 JST

Just the other day, i realise the Azusa's guitar paint "melted" into her skirt. I tried some antiseptic alcohol but it wouldn't come off. Any alternatives to wash it off?

Oooh bad guitar!
make-up remover
well i tried some nail polish remover and it still ain't coming off. it might be my eyes but her skirt seems to be getting lighter though...
i don't know if it's because this bottle is acetone free or not.
i use nail polish remover on not rubbery pvc, so it probaly works differently. or mabey the skirt melted slightly
The skirt still appears to be in one piece and not melted or corroded. No physical damage.
My figma Azusa faces the same problem too.I was really upsetwhen i knew it.still finding a cure.^^;
Use any glasses cleaning solution, that takes it right out
Applied some monitor cleansing gel and that didn't come off.
Gotta find other types of solution...
The same happen to me, i too noticed when i was dusting all my figma's. Since i don't change their poses anymore, i just leave it alone.
I had same problem this summer with Azusa and Mio. i just scratched them off repeatedly with my finger nails while rinsing in soapy water, but be careful not to damage the jacket. after that, I applied clear plastic tape completely on the backside of the guitar, so it wont melt again. so far no more stains were seen after. Just cut the tape roughly in the shape of the guitar, it still looks good.
i tried soap and it won't come off.
ok.....LAST resort: try acetone. Be careful because acetone can clean off other paints that u dont wanna get off. and make sure the surface that u r wiping off has no paint coating or otherwise u peel off the whole section of coating. u can get acetone in cosmetic aisle in any drug store (ask for pure acetone or nail polish remover).
