Skirts, Boobs, and Fast Ships; CHECK!!
Here is the next very obscure game, Otomedius Excellent. This game should have came out about a year ago and for some odd reason pushed back and pushed back and finally came out. I've been into the shooting style game since back in the NES days of 1942 and the Raiden games. But this game is exactingly what i thought it was going to be... Ridiculous!! And i don't mean that in a bad way, but in that outta the blue hitting you from the left from right field while watching someone slip on a banana ridiculous.
So here's the run down. It's your typical Konami shooter like Gradius, but you have 11 cute (1/2 dressed in some caes) girls in reall fast ships blasting things out of space to save (i think) the universe. I you look close you might find some notable faces from other Konami games and if you play through some of the lvls you will notice that Konami just threw anything and everything they wanted to in this game from anything they have done in the past.
So if you are a side scroll shooting fan, or have played the Gradius games in the past then you'll find this just down your ally. Aside that the game looks great (and i don't mean the girls).
This version i got is what i think is the only version you can get now, but in this Special Edition you get, Artbook, Soundtrack, and a 2 sided Pillow Case. I couldn't take pictures of the art book since i would have to bend the pages more than i was whiling to.
So if you have a 360 and can find this game it's going for about 50 bucks from places like Gamestop, Bestbuy or even Wal-Mart. But be warned this might be a very hard game to find since when i picked mine up there was only 3 people who ordered this game. Me and 2 of the Gamestop employees.... lol
I had to take these pictures at my friends house since as soon as i picked it up i went over to play it.
Edit; I normally give about a week before i put up my review of games... But i couldn't wait since i just had that much fun playing it.

The way they look reminds me of Trigger Heart Exelica. :O
I can see that, since Trigger Heart also has girls with "over the top" sized boobs for no reason at all. This is just the 2d side scroller version of it... lol
I don't know what about the north America release, in Japanese version those two are released as DLCs. Cost me some MSP there.

There is only one DLC atm and it's for the Vic Viper. The others are unlockable on the most ridicules settings... lol
Japanese version got a lot of DLCs now, include Playable characters (Strarf and Kokoro Belment) I mentioned before (first I thought they are unlockable characters, but it turned out I must pay extra for them or I will only be able to find them in the opening movie ^^), a bunch of BGM packs (about 10), etc.
Guess they will be put on line for North America release sooner or latter. ^^
Was reading that you can beat the game on the hardest setting to unlock them. But not sure now... lol

I can honestly say it is a game that I never experience before except the only similarity
I can think of is the spaceship game called "Galaga" from Namco Museum of gamecube.
But it seems interesting enough to buy it other than the nice stuff included.
it's kinda close, but same principle.
Got my copy and yeah it's a really awesome game.
